House Of Commons, 54th Ziu

Hello all, sorry for the delay in getting to this, but it is time to set up the house of commons up again and to assign seats

As per the election results, the breakdown of votes are thus:-


FREEDEMS   5
ZPT   3
PNP   1
AMP   1
MTGA   1

We have 20 seats, i would appreciate help in working out the seat per party ratios

And i hope the upcoming session of the Commons will great for us all.

I think it'll go something like this?

11 Votes total, so

FREEDEM: (5/11)*100 = 45.45%
ZPT: (3/11)*100 = 27.27%
Others: (1/11)*100 = 9.09% each

The rounding is a pain.

I'm calculating this as

9.09 seats for FreeDems
5.454 seats for ZPT
1.818 seats each for PNP, AMP, MTGA

So, for sure, it's a minimum of

FreeDem = 9
ZPT = 5
PNP = 1
AMP = 1
MTGA = 1

with 3 seats remaining on the rounding...

Seems a safe bet that each 1.8 rounds up to 2, so each of the 3 parties with 1 takes a second seat.

FreeDem = 9
ZPT = 5
PNP = 2
AMP = 2
MTGA = 2

Ok thanks for the assistance here, and with not being told otherwise, I am able to assign the 9 FreeDem seats to myself (if anyone in the party would like to have some of the seats then let me know)

Does any ohter Parties wish to assign there seats? If not, as a majority of seats have been alocated, i would like to open nominatons for Başbakan, which i think should be open for 7 days from today (which also hopefully also gives party leaders time to assign seats in the Commons)

This is not the best way to have done this, but is the best way i know how to have done this, this is the follow up replies on the old witt site, copied and pasted.
Any new buisnes of the province should be conducted soley on here from now on.

I apologise for the delayed reply. And when I’m next on here on my laptop I’ll do my best to tidy the thread up.

Also as they’re have been no further nominations or activity of parties assigning seats, and as there is only one candidate for election for Basbakan,  I open voting for 7 days (which new members (if appointed) will be eligible to vote on), as a vote is required by article 2 section 3 of the Constitution.

I hereby open votes from now until 5 am GMT Saturday 1st February 2020.

All members are called to order to vote in the election of the new Basbakan.
