There's something I wish I didn't do.
The southern east parish is just a huge parking lot... Like, it's just that.
It's the parking lot to Summerfest, a magical place that is located enterily in Maritiimi-Maxhestic.

But yeah, maybe just doing this would be better.:

_ EDITED TO CORRECT IN NEW THREAD _

Any comments would be appreciated.

Homemade Hummus, Lettuce, Tomato, Green Pepper, Red Onion...
Sounds and looks like a comforting lunch. What a blessing. Thank you for sharing!

And yeah haha in the last 3 years they build over 10 Tim Hortons in my area lol

Talk about expansion.

I brought this idea up on the Old Witt. I suggested that we use place names from the works of H.P. Lovecraft because he writes "weird fiction" and we're a weird province.

You have clearly fleshed out this idea way better than I did. I'm onboard as long as we're allowed to pick which township we "live" in.

H. P. Lovecraft can be used for a whole Canton or a Township and it'd be great.
Imagine Lovecraft for one and Poe for another. Nice.

Yeah  picking where to be in it would be great but I think itd be cool to arrange a system for that too. As residing in different parts of the world indicates which Province you are from, I think a system like that (but different) could work for Fiôvâ and it's 4 townships.
Idk maybe all people borned in Jan-Mar, April-Jun, Jul-Sept and Oct-Dec? Or which is your animal in the Chinese zodiac? Or that's just plain preposterous?

I never drink coffee on days when I am working...I will celebrate a week from tomorrow when I am camping...if my wife will let me start my computer I will post a picture then. Enjoy your day coffee drinkers!

Making coffee while camping sounds like a peak of joy. I really hope you can make it and enjoy it! (If you can't upload the picture then, I'd appreciate it the day after, haha)

I am celebrating Talossan Coffee Day with a Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew from Starbucks which is located on the ground floor of our office building.

It is surprisingly flavorful for something that purports to be only 200 calories.

Enjoy it! That is my favorite drink when I get a chance to go to Starbucks.

The closest Starbucks is like 3km away but the nearest Tim Hortons is like 300 meters away from my Job.
The canadians tried to mimick this drink but I know for a fact that Starbucks version is better.
I think I need to compare them now.
Thank you for celebrating Talossan Coffee Day, S:reu Tzaracomprada.

Yes!
Thank you Seneschal Ian Plätschisch.

I'm celebrating Talossan Coffee Day by sharing a cup of Geisha Coffee made in a Moka Pot with my wife.
She is going to a yoga lesson and I'm recording a video for Fora Talossa!
What a great friday, and its only 11:30am.

I wish everyone a great day. Cheers!

Hello my fellow Fiováns,
I noticed that our cantons are yet to be divided (if we want to).

So,
WHEREAS out Cantons are some of the biggest in the Kingdom and
WHEREAS dividing them into Townships can be fun and
WHEREAS having Townships may promote a more diverse and active political life in our Province and
WHEREAS dividing them and naming them and deciding what to do with them will surely make our community stronger,
THEREFORE I propose to make Townships out of our Cantons in the presented way:

Edited to be corrected in a new thread.

So, for discussion:

After spending a few hours going through literally every street via Google Maps (got to know some interesting cafés),
I got to know a lot of our Cantons. There are a lot of buildings and sculptures worth watching, to be honest.

I even think there's a good chance to propose a Capitol Building for every Town or Parish. (if this proposal is approved, of course)
Example:

Also, I put up there 2 options just in case. I think Option A is the best one for both cases.

What I'm proposing here (My first proposal btw) is that we can do something! I don't know exactly where this road will take us but I'm willing to go on this journey.

I think dividing our Cantons into Townships and doing something with them might be fun and a good way to get new citizens.

But what can we do with them?

Grant them and trading them as cards? Merging them? Fighting over who gets to name them?  Playing Risk with them?
Maybe make them count as points and fight to see who gets more points at the end of the year? Make a raffle to see who gets what? Make flags for the townships?

I mean, half of these things sounds like a riot.

Fiôvâ / Re: [FOR DISCUSSION] About the Cantons
July 21, 2022, 03:03:38 PM

How do we feel by not having our Cantons divided in Townships (census blocks) and Parishes (block groups) as some other Provinces?

LIM is a huge canton. Cooper Canton can be easily divided in blocks.

Fiôvâ / Re: [FINAL VOTE] Provincial Symbols

As 7 days have passed and all votes were Për, I updated the Province Wiki to include the Symbols.

https://wiki.talossa.com/Fi%C3%B4v%C3%A2

You can see that I updated information about the Cantons and the Current Government too.

Azul, citizen Ian Plätschisch, Seneschal.

I have completed 20 wiki edits and request a day of observance entitled "Feïra d'el cafè Talossan", or "Talossan Coffee Day".

On this day, citizens that wish to conmemorate the ocassion shall share and enjoy a cup of coffee with someone at any time of the day.

During "Feïra d'el cafè Talossan" (or the day after) citizens would be encouraged to share a picture of the cups of coffee they had that day with this information:
* Who was the coffee shared with and at what time.
* How was the coffee made.
* From which region of the world was that particular coffee.

Even though none of this information is mandatory, a Thread shall be made, titled "(Year) Feïra d'el cafè Talossan" where citizens can share their pictures.

This I think will enhance our days and would create a moment of peace that allows us to be in the moment. No distractions (as the "enjoy the cup of coffee" part IS mandatory).

Also it would make us connect with each other in Talossa and with our immediate surroundings, improving our general physical and mental health.

Pictures related as I took them while thinking of this proposal.

Whereas Fiôvâ can create its own Titles, Crest and Heraldry thanks to its Fiôván College of Arms and
whereas the Colétx can work if it has an appointed Four-Star Magistrate of Arms and
wheres the Four-Star Magistrate of Arms is appointed by el Capitán.

My question is:
Do we have an elected Capitán?
If not,
Can the Praisidïeu choose a Capitán?

Wittenberg / [PROVINCES] New Map (18 July 2022)
July 19, 2022, 07:15:31 PM
I was looking at Talossa's maps and found out a Google my Maps map thah was made before Fiôvâ was formed.
As a Fiôván, it felt weird.

SO
I made an updated version including Fiôvâ and every Canton of every Province.
I'm afraid I didn't incorporate the Townships and Parishes (except for Florencia because it's only one Canton).

Thank you, thank you S:reu Excelsio. Excelsio has to be one of the best Talossan surnames.

Haha, thank you to you too!

I'm afraid I can't like posts/comments in this thread, I'm not sure why.

Quick programming note for viewers of this series:
August will be a very busy month for some of those behind Fora Talossa. Therefore, I will be trying to get the August edition of This Month in Talossan History out during the last week of July as I want to be sure it gets out.
I admire your commitment to release the videos and also I'm thankful for your consideration in informing us that you may not be entirely available to upload the video in August. We understand that not everybody can commit every single month to Talossan affaires and that's ok.

Hope everything goes well, S:reu Tzaracomprada.
