Thanks to Infoteca, all citizens can follow the number of citizenship applications, and the number of immigrants. This possibility to follow the action of the Cabinet was a commitment made by the TNC on its platform.

On each issue of our newsletter "La C'hronica", edited by MinSTUFF, you have all names of applicants and immigrants.

As a reminder :

3 new citaxhiéns: Juan José García , Sergio F and Yanier

During April XLV we also received 5 immigration applications : • Canberk Akhanli, from Turkey • Enrico Mastracchio, from the USA • Bruno Valdez (!), from Mexico • Alicia Leeka Pratx, from France • Chelsea Inthavong, from the USA

And during May XLV up to now (5/19), we received 6 immigration applications : Anton Shvaryov, Jerry J Baley, Ray Alen Baxter, Theresa Anne Tafoya, Alicia Leeka Pratx, Dean George

So since October 1st in total 56 applications up to now (of which 41 processed by me), and of which 2 from our unfortunate candidate Daren. - and 9 new immigrants.

The graphs, on this wall, tell the story of it all :

Even if difficult to substanciate, I like to think that these numbers have been improved thanks to the external communication efforts from MinStuff on different social networks (Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Reddit, Facebook), from our Distain on Fora Talossa, and also following Bentxami's interview. I'm sure we could have done better with more transversal cooperation on external communication, and it is still my wish to make our Kingdom more visible and attractive to potential immigrants - so that they count in large amounts.

WHEREAS it has been more than a fortnight since Dien Xhorxh ( @Dien Xhorxh ) first posted on Wittenberg, following his introduction to the citizens of the Kingdom by officers of the Immigration Ministry, and

WHEREAS he has, in that time, demonstrated an active, genuine, and continuing interest in Talossan life, culture, and

WHEREAS he really desires citizenship in the Kingdom of Talossa (as reminded to MinImm directly by private message), and

WHEREAS by all indications it appears that he would be a loyal and dedicated citizen, and a credit to this nation if he obtains the grant of citizenship he requests, and

WHEREAS he will certainly spice up and enrich our Talossan culture,

THEREFORE I, Barclamïu da Miéletz, a citizen in good standing of the province of Cézembre and of the Kingdom of Talossa, do by the present petition the Secretary of State @Sir Txec dal Nordselvă, UrB to issue a grant of citizenship to Prospective Citizen Dien Xhorxh, as specified by law.

An American company, Papercutz (headed by former Marvel Comics editor Jim Salicrup) has begun releasing new editions of the Asterix books (three of the original albums per volume), and I've picked up the first four. I believe these editions cover books originally published from 1961-67. I read a few of the Asterix books when I was maybe 10 or 11, and loved them then. Re-reading them now as a fifty year old, they're still great, and I found myself laughing out loud quite a bit. Superb art and storytelling. Highly recommended. (No wonder they have an Asterix theme park in France.) (Asterix is apparently one of the most popular comics series in history, but sadly remains relatively unknown in the US.)
Other recent purchase was the premier issue of the revived "Savage Sword of Conan", by Titan Comics. The original Savage Sword was a black and white, magazine sized book published by Marvel, which ran from 1973 until sometime in the mid nineties. I was a big fan back in my teenage years. Glad to say, the first issue of the new series is great. Like the original, it's printed on newsprint (ahhh...inhale those pages, you can smell the ink!), and features a fine Conan story by Arcudi and Fafner. The back up story features Solomon Kane, story and art by Patch Zircher (may be actually better than the Conan story.) Well worth acquiring (the $6.99 cover price is nice.)

Following up on this, as our Legislature has now completed the required steps to hold a provincial referendum. May I get approved for access to email addresses on the Database? Thanks!

Absolutely. I'll work on this as soon as possible (have to get the help of MPF on this one).

Thank you very much!

I haven't forgotten about this. I'm still waiting on MPF's help.
