Quote from: Ian Plätschisch on December 07, 2022, 12:39:17 PM@xpb, could you do Saturday at 9 am TST (8 Mountain, 10 Eastern)
Yes that should work 0800 mountain
But above, did you mean Sunday
"December 04, 2022, 04:37:33 PM To clarify, I am looking at Sunday, December 11"

I am interested for Sunday 11 December evening - I have evening events on Saturday 10 December but could participate morning or afternoon Mountain time on the Saturday if that is what was meant.

Quote from: King John on August 22, 2022, 03:07:58 PMSomehow I'd never read much, until this week, by Elizabeth Hand.  (If my notes are correct, all I'd read of hers was a short story "Echo", and the much-awarded novella "Last Summer at Mars Hill".)  But the last few days, I've been correcting this oversight, and enjoying myself a lot -- "Illyria", "The Maiden Flight of McCauley's Bellerophon", "Near Zennor", "Wylding Hall".  Haunting stuff, and *very* well-written.

Thanks for the heads up on Wylding Hall - that was a fun read.

Quote from: Glüc da Dhi S.H. on November 22, 2022, 04:51:51 PMWell that's embarrassing... I read the title of last years thread and mistook it for this year, and figured eh why not. Should have paid more attention. Apologies for the confusion.

No worries I could have been clearer in stating that this election is only for l' Etats & Le Sénéchal, and now will take place in February after the declaration of a month of recess has occurred.

Given https://wittenberg.talossa.com/index.php?topic=1930.0#msg15854 a statement of December 2022 recess, I have inquired of the SoS to confirm if dates now are advanced a month.

I also note the message from the SoS where the Cosa ends after the living Cosa (on 20 Nov) rather than the announcement upon issuance of the bills of of the 21st of the month, at 19h30 TST

Your announcement of the Clark indicated that I can vote in this thread, until the 21st of the month, at 19h30 TST, not merely up until the end of the living cosa.

Looking at the votes, mine would not change a result, however I would like to vote, in time as original announcement.

I will stand for l'Etats & le Sénéchal, as in the past.

However, at the deadline where candidates declare by 05:30 9 January CÉT (UTC+1) = 8 January 19:30 TST (UTC-5) (if a month of recess is not declared.)

  • If there is one and only one other candidate for Sénéchal, I will withdraw my standing allow that citizen to become the next Sénéchal.  I will continue to conduct this election for l'Etats or any other exigent office, after which the new Sénéchal may adopt other procedures.
  • If there are more than one other candidate for Le Sénéchal I will withdraw my candidacy and conduct the election for l'Etats, Sénéchal, or any other exigent office, after which the new Sénéchal may adopt other procedures.

Of note that the Cézembre election just after the 58th Cosa election is being conducted according to the existing rules including more than the required notice via both Wittenberg and email.  There is not a Senäts election required at this time, unless the current Lord Warden should wish to curtail his service.

The SOS has already acknowledged this in the posting https://wittenberg.talossa.com/index.php?topic=1879.0
