Title: Cézembre language survey
Post by: xpb on May 07, 2023, 01:30:32 PM
Triggered by discussions with prospective citizen @þerxh, perhaps we can create an inventory of languages known by Cézembreans, as the current catchment reform update under discussion will include the nations of Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.

I am a native American English speaker, and grok ein biẞchen Deutsch, shwaya arabi & ilang salita lang Tagalog.

A list could be made in this thread, or perhaps skills could be posted as part of our timebank (https://www.timeoverflow.org/offers?org=395) prototype?

On my side, native French speaker (including Ch'ti, which is the northern France patois) + English + a disapointing bit of German from school + just enough Italian to survive in a restaurant + failed attempts at Swedish, Dutch, Wolof, Mandarin, Esperanto (meaning I have the level 1 guides on my shelves)
