Azul Garth! If the most recent issue isn't downloading properly from the thread I published it in, I've re-attached it at here. Let me know if this works.

Partì da Reformaziun
Mac'htici Idéăs, Mac'htici Resultaes

El Partì da Reformaziun, the Reform Party, is currently welcoming new members who may wish to serve as Members of the 60th Cosa. If you are someone who wants to make a positive difference for our country and help build toward a brighter tomorrow, consider registering with the PdR! Our goal is to lead Talossa into a more democratic future, where our culture can flourish under a smoother, more responsive state structure. If this sounds like your goal -- if you find our 50-word statement appealing -- if our platform aligns with your own values -- then think about reaching out to Mic'haglh Autófil, our Zirecteir Naziunal, for more information. And regardless of whether the PdR sounds like your cup of tea, be sure to watch this space as details on the PdR platform's planks is released!

Quote from: Barclamïu da Miéletz on May 31, 2024, 04:01:22 AMI find it sad that Poland is known elsewhere just because of a swear word (although I admit I use it all the time when my parents aren't around.)
It's not the only country, to be fair (as Finns can attest)
Finland is famous for "perkele" iirc.
Yes, that is what I was referring to.

Hey you two -- maybe let's let Braneu have his platform thread and carry this one on elsewhere? Valid discussion to be had, but right place and all that.

Quote from: Bråneu Excelsio on May 30, 2024, 04:07:59 PMA few months ago, a fellow coffee shop owner gave me this as a birthday present (the right one).
It's now my most precious pannapictagraphist item.

You may be interested to know that at one point, in a TN issue long past (and never completed), I had a cartoon drafted in which you were depicted with an IV drip of coffee. (Also since you didn't have arms yet you were the city flag of Monterrey, but that's thankfully no longer the case.)

Quote from: Mic'haglh Autófil, SMC EiP on May 28, 2024, 07:38:36 PMThat provision is criminally underutilized. Would be a lot of fun to see newer citizens taking advantage of it in the future!
For sure -- we've had a couple people do it, but it probably needs promotion again.  Maybe we need a quickstart guide for them added to the What's Going On page?

May also be worth the MinImm -- whether the incumbent or their successor -- making a note of alerting them to its existence once they've been naturalized.

Are they set to private wherever you have them? You could always try attaching them as well.

Quote from: codename_chels on May 06, 2024, 12:04:03 AMSorry, I need to consider my word diction more and I understand more clearly now. I was thinking, even the ones in the Ziu would need worker protections. What about ensuring that there's no workplace bullying, etc? But, I'm also guessing that everything written in the forum and in the nation is incredibly civil?

At a bare minimum, we do have what we call "Wittiquette", which like any set of online forum rules governs how we try to interact with each other here.

Quote from: Mic'haglh Autófil, SMC EiP on April 23, 2024, 07:42:21 PMWith four Senators casting a vote, this bill passes the Senate by a vote of 3-1.

As the bill has passed both houses of the Chancellery, it now goes to the King or Vicere for approval or veto. If neither takes any action on the bill by Calondă Mai, it will become law and the Maestro shall begin preparations for the referendum.

Calondă Mai having come, the Maestro shall proceed in accordance with the law. (I'm happy to help on this if needed, though I'm not sure I am -- or should be -- privy to the list of email addresses so the actual sending I leave to you.)

Quote from: Zilect Uómbat Firă on April 30, 2024, 04:59:46 PMMaybe there should be a redistricting commission created to look into how to best redraw the catchment areas
I'm not opposed to this idea in principle, but I think it's best we also don't overcomplicate the process or add too much red tape to it.
