Introducing the 2nd El Pretz 'Per Tomás poetry prize
https://youtu.be/FZhBAlTB_Lk
In the words of this contest's founder, Owen Edwards, "El Pretz 'Per Tomás" prize is awarded in honour of all purple-tongued Talossans, most especially the granddaddy of them...it represents the hope that Talossa will continue to seek to understand its past, with its turmoils and tragedies, whilst working for a better, more beautiful future."
Fora Talossa is pleased to partner with prize creator Owen Edwards and inaugural prize recipient Breneir Tzaracomprada as judges and Talossa's very own poet laureate, Eoin Ursum as a ceremonial sponsor.

I will be cleaning my typewriter now.
Nice!
Braneu, you are a remarkable breath of fresh air to the Kingdom. Thank you so much for jumping head first into Talossanity.
Is there a theme? Or is it open to anything?
No theme or length requirements. Looking forward to reading your submission :)
Very pleased to announce we have received at least one submission now :)
Just bumping for those who might not have seen this thread.
I'm afraid I'm not much of a poet.
If you were asking for plays or novels, I'd have something. The last time I wrote a poem was in high school over 32 years ago. Sorry.
Oh darn, thanks to you both for responding though. Good news is we just received our second entry. :)
We are around two weeks out from the submission deadline for the Poetry Contest: 15 September 2022.
Please consider submitting your literary jewels for review.
Closing in on the entry deadline with just 5 days remaining.
You can send in your exquisite poetic gems by PM here on witt or via email at copebh@gmail.com
I'm trying to translate one to Talossan but perhaps this was a rushed decision haha. I'll just send it as it is :)

Thank you Bråneu! I have added your contribution to the entrants.
Today is the final day for poetry submissions.
If you've been thinking of a nice piece to submit today is the day!
Submission review has commenced. Excited to announce the winner in the coming weeks.
Are we going to get to see all of the entries? I'm interested to see what other people submitted!
