I fail to understand why the 'Republicans' had to rejoin the Kingdom.

The only reason that comes to mind - to destroy the social fabric of the nation and claim it for themselves; and go down in history as the Liberatadors ;)

I took another crack at it, making the mantling just undifferentiated (like some of the existing examples) and with a new motto.  I am moderately sure of my Latin: it is intended to say, "Let us seek out compassion, courage, and the truth."  It's been a while since I formed a jussive subjunctive, but I think it's correct.  I've had the same motto for a long time, so I thought it might be time to shift to the family ideals instead.

The google translator has dropped the 'truth' factor in totality. Should we replace verumque with veritas?
Further, the word 'audentia' gives the desired result and not its inflection as mentioned by you.

No idea with the Latin... should I finalize and send it upstairs to the room that's rarely opened?

Your Blazon for the Arms would remain the same; so no dropping of any charge is permitted.

Plus, if you drop the charge, your CoA would become that of Tecou, a commune in southern France.

Azul Baron !

Your Blazon for the Arms would remain the same; so no dropping of any charge is permitted.

Although you are entitled to a mantle, as a norm in Taloosa, it would be in the same hue as your arms i.e. vert and argent

The Motto that you have chosen is perfect.

On the issue of charge, your choice of a 'crow' is definitely available and allowed as per heraldic practice. However the helmet would be slightly changed with a baronial coronet on it.

The Blazon for the creast would thus be:

Peched from a baronial coronet proper a crow (close) sable. [Since the standard attitude of a bird such as a crow is 'close', I believe that the word may be removed].

See this page, for Baronial Mantle and coronet design: http://wiki.talossa.com/Arms_of_the_Nobility

Azul @Baron Alexandreu Davinescu !

The RTCoA is happy to know about your elevation to the Nobility of the great nation of Talossa.

Do you want the help of the College in designing your Crest and Motto?

Will await your reply.

Just give me a few days to recover from the dreaded +ve status.

Yipes, did I hear you've got the COVID? I heard things were bad where you live.  :( Can Talossans do anything to help?

Azul !

Really thankful for the concern.

Me and my mother are fully recovered now and have finished off with the mandatory home quarantine period of 2 weeks. Still haven't been able to procure the -ve RT-PCR certificate because of the rush. Home collection facilities are practically at a standstill with waits for over a week; and I don't want to visit the Hospitals and risk being together with other infected persons.

It is said that the antigens take 21days + to develop and till it is fully developed to take care of the next 2-3 months, one is susceptible to infection again. So don't want to take the chance, and would rather wait for a week at least for the -ve report.

Anyways, Delhi is in a state of lockdown, on a week to week basis, for the last fortnight, so there's no rush to get out of the home.

As @Baron Alexandreu Davinescu knows, there's a milk and a vegetable vendor in my residential campus so everyday needs are taken care of. Nowadays, almost all essential groceries are delivered by numerous app-based companies. So, life's nearly sorted.

Was feeling extremely weak, and found it a hassle to keep the head straight up for more than a few minutes till last week. For the first time, I have opened the computer today. Had seen your post from my phone, but since am not logged in from the mobile, couldn't reply immediately.

Thanks again.

Hope others in Talossa stays healthy, fit and fine.

Anyone from the College interested in designing? Or should I take charge?

Yes, is anyone from the College around right now?   ;D

I'll be taking up this project myself.

@GV

I'm not sure if they are registered by the College or not, but if not, I suggest the College do so anyway.

If the King needs to somehow 'recognize' this to make it 'Talossan-legal', then that will be for him to determine.  I just want to be sure no-one else can have it other than Ben.

Ben made this graphic ca. 2001 when he put to Witt his (extant, I think) geneaology going back to the Counts of Toulouse!

The College has taken note of the same. It would be forwarded to the Squirrel King of Arms after some homework.

Good Evening,
To clarify, thanks to my own records being a bit scrambled, Vice Admiral Ardpresteir is the Vice Chief of Naval Operations under Branch Chief, Navy Board member and Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Brad Holmes. If you boys wanna fight over who's going to be top dog in the RTN... please remember that such disagreements are addressed at ten paces with matching caliber Nerf pistols.

Cheers,
Gen. Txoteu Davinescu, O.SPM, SRFS
Minister of Defence
Navy Board Member
Commandant, RTMC

No way am to ready to fight against a senior officer, that too over such settled issues.  I am just an officer appointed by another Senior officer, whilst Admiral Holmes after his appointment has been elevated to the office by the Ziu.

Interesting idea... however, wouldn't that give Cosa members even more votes if members of the Cabana?

Davinescu

True that. However, even today, not all Cosa members have the same weightage in the votes... so if being part of the more popular parties entitles you to a greater number of votes, then what's wrong in being a legislator from Maricopa and having more votes?

However, your question has made me start thinking that this would actually make a Cosa member have a partial indirect vote even in the Senate.  You are right, that shouldn't be in an ideal situation.
