Quote from: Sir Txec dal Nordselvă, UrB on May 05, 2023, 10:12:11 AMI REALLY wish someone had told me that there was a HUGE error in this edition mentioning King Robert instead of King John. I sent the newsletter as I usually do, without proofreading, as this is the government's newsletter.

My sincerest apologies Sir Txec. I had sent the text to you before you, Breneir, and myself had the discussion about the error yesterday.

God forbid this sort of thing happen in the future, but supposing it does, what would be the proper course of action?

Thank you for your assistance, and I sincerely apologize again for the egregious error.

Quote from: Baron Alexandreu Davinescu on May 02, 2023, 08:02:46 PMGuys, by the way, I would be happy to do more logos. They are produced by AI, with some editing afterwards, so it's not a huge deal. If you want me to make one for every event, I am very happy to do so. I'm glad you liked it!

Really fun podcast by the way! You guys are funny.

What AI do you use Baron? I would love to throw some of these together as well!

I think this is a great idea! I wonder if there is a site that allows turn-based play kind of like Warzone.

Quote from: Sir Txec dal Nordselvă, UrB on April 17, 2023, 01:38:44 PMI didn't extend the vote because I felt like this whole voting was descending into a bit of chaos. What does everyone think? Should we re-vote or accept the new votes after the deadline?

I haven't gone back to look, but if we have a winner before the deadline, then I say we take that result. Otherwise, it looks like we will have a tie regardless and so we will need to decide on a tie breaker of some kind.

Since there doesn't seem to be a precedent for this kind of thing, once we get it figured out, I think we should propose a law or rule so the way forward is clear in the future.

If that vote is counted then we still have a tie  :D

I think by tradition the winner should be chosen by poker tournament.

This is wonderful news! The real question is who is... what are you going to wear!?
My vote is for the King Ben Special:

Quote from: Iason Taiwos on April 13, 2023, 04:07:01 PMWe Cjovani made a 75 card deck (Cartas Cjovani) with five suits...apple, trumpet, dagger, star and flame, as well as a couple of games using such cards. (One such game, kintoufle, is like a cross between chess and poker.) (We also briefly worked on a tarot/fortune-telling deck.) (I applaud you for actually getting the card designs done. When I said we made a deck, I meant that it is just at the "drawings on notebook paper" stage.) (Is there money in the bank to get a few of these Talossan decks made? I think Vitx and I once looked up how much it costs to print playing cards, and it wasn't as expensive as we would have thought.)

Once the budget is approved, MinCulture has set aside 66¤40 ($100 USD) for Culture Initiative Support Fund grants. I think this falls well within the eligible category for such a grant.

These are great! I wish the smaller images had similar detail to the larger ones (such as the Ace or 2), but I understand that it may get lost in the smaller sizes.

Did you leave the Ace and 2 of bents as outlines on purpose, instead of filling them with black like the rest of that suit?

I would love to see if we could get these into production and maybe even develop some Talossan card games!

I just want to say thank you to everyone expressing concern and well wishes, and a special thank you to @Breneir Tzaracomprada for taking over for me, it was a huge weight off my shoulders.
