Quote from: GV on September 11, 2024, 09:06:09 AM@luc-troubleshooting Where do I go to make Witt and Wiki backups?

Many thanks! - GV, Royal Archivist

We have daily backups (4 per day, in fact) of Witt and the Wiki. They are publicly available but encrypted. If you wish to have access to them please share you public GPG key and I'll add you.

Public GOP key???

Quote from: Sir Lüc on September 11, 2024, 01:07:34 PMIt's Danihel Txechescu, who I now see has already replied to you on the thread you also opened in the Civil Service board.

I keep forgetting when and where I make threads on what-not.  Thanks so much!

Houston Chamber Choir (www.houstonchamberchoir.org) is taking a tour of two of the Baltic countries plus Sweden.

Of course, I will want a massive Euro-Talossan presence at our performances.  As we get closer, I will have a firm itinerary.

@Ián Anglatzara, that means you.  :-)

Quote from: Sir Lüc on September 11, 2024, 10:35:32 AMI'm no longer in charge of the national web infrastructure. You'll want to speak with the new Backend Secretary.

Who would that be?  Hope all is well - sorry to no longer have you on the job...

[WITHDRAWN]

WHEREAS Lex D.8.9 seals Cabinet discussions for seven years following the demise of the government of the time of said Cabinet,

WHEREAS Lex D.8.9 gives the responsibility of preservation of those records for seven years to the Royal Archivist,

WHEREAS a stopgap needs to be in place in case of something happening to the Royal Archivist before said records are released under Lex D.8.9,

THEREFORE, the Ziu adds the following to El Lex:

D.8.9.2 The Royal Archivist may designate the current Monarch of Talossa as a Cabinet Deputy to the Royal Archives who is tasked solely with also preserving Cabinet archives per D.8.9. [end new text of El Lex]

The current Lex D.8.9 shall be renumbered Lex D.8.9.1

[end of proposed and withdrawn bill text]

Quote from: Baron Alexandreu Davinescu on September 02, 2024, 03:05:43 PMIt seems like the general consensus is that we would all prefer to do this in the GTA and do it right, rather than virtually do it sooner. Would there be any interest in souvenir copies of official proclamations or something similar? The 3D printing idea is cool, and it got me thinking about other keepsakes people might enjoy.

It may be a full-blown TalossaFest is in order.  Next summer (past 19 June?)?

Quote from: Breneir Tzaracomprada on August 28, 2024, 11:24:14 PMMight also be interesting to send official invitations to other monarchs and micronational leaders who might attend the coronation ceremony virtually.
I think it is a great idea to make it virtual, there are people (like me) who either can't afford a flight ticket to Milwaukee or don't have time (in my case, it's both.) That just gave me an idea, I could transmit it on my channel.

Any type of ceremony that will occur in the foreseeable future will have to be virtual, as I cannot state with any sincerity when I would be able to get to the GTA. Also, as I've said before, I prefer for now something that is virtual as our citizenry is so spread out around the world, and it opens up the possibility of making this more of a grand event.

Of course, you will need to arrange with John as to the transfer of the royal regalia, though I'm sure y'all have already that in place.

Quote from: Miestră Schivă, UrN on August 01, 2024, 05:49:31 PMWe could just abolish the Clark system altogether and the Ziu (and/or the houses thereof) just schedule their votes how and when they want. Now that's a radical reform.

Quote from: Ian Plätschisch on November 26, 2023, 11:50:38 AMUnfortunately a lot of this stuff isn't around anymore. I'll try to go through later and point out what.

Remove Fiova Festival of Art and the 42 Project, please, and thanks for this list! - GV
