So the Premier of Maricopa has mentioned that he supports the concept of provincial re-organisation, and is interested in opening talks with Fiova on the issue.
Hopefully this won't blow people's brains out as badly as the F-F merger proposal (esp. since the two partners are territorially contiguous this time, I think). Anyone got any suggestions? Or want to join me on an official negotiation team?
I am happy to announce that the Praisideu has endorsed me representing Fiova in merger negotiations with Maricopa, led by their Premier Nordselva. By Organic stipulations, the Ziu will not be able to endorse a provincial merger unless we have a new constitution and provisional government set up, so that's the first order of business.
Questions? Comments?
Greetings.
Is this still in the realm of possibilities?
So far, public opinion in Maricopa seems entirely negative, even though the Maricopa government is in favour.
If there's a complete overhaul of the National Register with reassignments according to present catchment areas, I'd favour a merger.
However as the law stands as on date, I myself refrain from my personal relocation to Fiova (especially since I don't find comfort in entering an otherwise 'Republican' zone).

Yeah, our loss.
