Messages - Barclamïu da Miéletz

I feel threatened the most, as I live pretty close to the war, while it's right at the Polish border and me being in Germany. Russian missiles did hit Polish soil, but one probably came from the Ukrainian defence system and the other flew UNDETECTED through Poland to Bydgoszcz. Luckily it landed in a sort of forest.
Even if the NATO had to intervene, I wouldn't be affected, but possibly my mum's side of family because Poland. In the middle. Let's just hope nothing happens.

Quote from: Kate on February 29, 2024, 04:35:28 AMHello everyone!! Could someone tell me where to start learning the language? I found only a paid book edition and some information about the history of the creation of the language. Where can I learn more about the grammar and content of the Talossa language? Thank you in advance.

Quote from: Ian Plätschisch on January 13, 2024, 07:18:28 PM"Oh lime juice, so tart and so bright,
A flavor that's both tangy and light.
Your zest is a burst on the tongue,
A taste that's both fresh and young.

You add a kick to a Margarita,
A perfect complement to tequila.
You make a ceviche pop with zing,
A dish that's sure to make the taste buds sing.

You brighten up a salad or stew,
A versatile ingredient, it's true.
You're not too sweet, not too strong,
Just the right balance all day long.

Oh lime juice, we raise a glass,
To your sour, yet delicious mass.
You bring joy to every dish,
We'll always relish your zesty bliss.

In drinks and in food, you're the star,
Oh lime juice, you're never too far.
We'll always keep you on hand,
For your flavor, we'll always stand."

The photo of myself is .png and 5 mb and my signature is .tiff and 242 kb. And I still can't upload the photos.

Quote from: Baron Alexandreu Davinescu on February 17, 2024, 02:17:30 PMThe link to the test is in the initial post.  It is automated, and doesn't require my permission.  If you get 75% or more, you may fill out the application for a card found at the end of the test.  Cards will be processed according to a strict "when I get a chance" basis (or ideally sooner, if the Seneschal has someone else do it).
I have already done the Civics test, but there were problems with the ID card application.
I'm sorry to hear that! Can you tell me what the problem was? Did it not work?
I couldn't upload a photo of myself and my signature. Perhaps it's my school's wifi. I could try to do it right now from home.
@Baron Alexandreu Davinescu I can't also upload a photo of myself and my signature even from home.

Quote from: Barclamïu da Miéletz on February 09, 2024, 02:35:57 PMAzul, I was wondering if there would be a proper TTS for Talossan. I would need it for another concept of mine.
Best regards,
Barclamïu

What is TTS?
Text-to-speech, it stands for text-to-speech. Would be interesting to have but for Talossan

Thanks. Sounds like a great idea.
It would be very useful as I have a concept in mind that would require TTS

Happy the concept was liked by other citaxhiéns :)
For Talossan citizens living in Germany:
If you have a Leichtkraftfahrzeug (= light motor vehicle) or a vehicle with the top speed reduced to 45 km/h, you can display any other plate (including a Talossan plate) on the front bumper as moped license plates are used. These are only mounted on the rear. (I remember seeing an Opel Rocks-e, a rebadge of the Citroën Ami with a US plate at the front.) I'm unsure about "normal" vehicles (as in your traditional car).
