Title: The James "Jimmy" Letherer Memorial Civil Rights Day

The James "Jimmy" Letherer Memorial Civil Rights Day

Whereas Talossa does not currently have a national Civil Rights Day, and

Whereas at least one Talossan is related  to a man who walked the 54 miles from Selma, Alabama to Montgomery, Alabama on crutches (he only had one leg) with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on March 21, 1965.

Therefore be it enacted by the Ziu that the second subsection of the fifth section of Title F of el Lexhatx, which currently reads

5.2. The list of Days of Observance recognised and observed by the government is as follows:
5.2.1. the month of March: Berber Heritage Month. All citizens are encouraged to express themselves in whatever medium is appropriate, on the question of Talossa's real or imagined Berbercentric prehistory.
5.2.2. 7 April: Cjovani Day. This holiday honors a trailblazing example of Talossan subcultural development, the Cjovani Benitians, and serves as a day for Talossans to consider the potential for future subcultures in their own provinces
5.2.3. June 24: Immigration Day
5.2.4. September 28: Democracy Day
5.2.5. October 16: Publicity Day
5.2.6. December 12: Llimbaziua (Language Day).

While I appreciate what this bill is trying to accomplish, I wonder if we could name the day after someone with a stronger connection to Talossa.
