Title: Talossan journalism
Post by: Zacrïeu Sverdeu on July 27, 2023, 01:03:09 AM
Does Talossa have a news paper?
I've heard the while he still interacted with Talossa that Mr. Madison himself produced a newspaper (at least in the early years,) does anyone currently run a news paper or publication of current events in regards to the micronation? Is there a market for such a thing (not in an actual economic sense but in interest)?
With the best regards
-zach

Sadly there are no "private enterprise" newspapers functioning, but the Government-issued monthly La C'hronica fills the gap: https://talossa.com/lchronica/

(Incidentally, attention Minister of STUFF: LC doesn't appear to have been posted on the National Website since March?!)

Oh, nice to know, would a "private enterprise" publication be encouraged?

We've had several private publications over the years but none are currently operating. See this link: https://wiki.talossa.com/Press

It would be great if someone started another one!

I think this is called sub-tweeting.
@Carlüs Éovart Vilaçafat I think Miestra was referencing you concerning the La C'hronică updates on Talossa.com.

@Zacrïeu Sverdeu I'm the editor of Fora Talossa which is Talossa's only video channel and apparently sole private news source currently. It is mentioned on the link referenced by Ian. Please let me know if you'd like to work with us and do view the current content there. We recently posted a simple music video of @Miestră Schivă, UrN band.

Here's the Fora Talossa link: https://youtube.com/@foratalossa2553

Thank you for pointing me in the direction to check y'all out, I'll be sure to do so. As for right now I can't really engage with the micronation as much as I would like, but when free time does see itself to me I'll look into avenues for content creation
Thank you again

I can confirm that La Tascaragnhă Nouă is returning to production, been drafting a few articles over the course of the week.

I am not currently contributing to any work, though I am flattered by the offers. I would prefer to start school and see what happens with my time then so I am not getting myself involved just to retreat in short time. I hope I can help in some regard with journalism in talossa, but that will be a couple three weeks down the line before I can fully apply myself
