Congratulations Francesco.

You mentioned to me during your initial immigration application that you would be interested in adopting a Talossan name.  Now would be a great time for you to head on over to the language sub forum ( https://wittenberg.talossa.com/index.php?board=23.0 ) and get the ball rolling on that if you still want to do that.

Yes!
I see that this is the translation of my name in Talossian: Françal
it will be a great pleasure to adopt this name in this forum and in my conversations in Talossian

You could also want to take a Talossan surname; this is usually (not always) done by looking at the etymology. Manzella seems to be a variant of Manzi, which apparently could be:

- An occupation-derived surname, related to the breeding of cattle;
- From the middle-age name Manso, which meant meek/mild/gentle/tame;
- From the Latin "mansum" (stayed/remained?), referring to a farmer who worked the land.

So your surname could be:

- Cattle is "pequarxha", so maybe "Pequarxhéir"? Alternatively, "breeder" is "Mahoreir";
- If we choose the second option, I would suggest "blidour" for gentle/tender, but there are other options;
- "Farmer" is "pour", which doesn't seem like a good option for a surname.

So maybe you could pick "Françal Pequarxhéir", "Françal Mahoreir" or "Françal Blidour".

There are other options, naturally. You could take a patronymic, (eg. if your father is Giovanni you'd be "Françal Ianescu"), or you could Talossanise your surname (making something like... "Mançell", perhaps? I'm definitely not an expert.)

I don't speak Talossan, but 'Françal Mançell' looks/sounds cool.

I would strongly suggest checking with actual experts (eg. @Marcel Eðo Pairescu Tafial ) if you wanted to use a Talossified version of your own surname. "Mançell" is a guess, and it "looks" Talossan, but I am nowhere near competent enough to recommend using it.

The surname Manzella is a common occupational name for a person who raised steers having being derived from the Italian word Manzo, meaning steer

The Talossan language has no word for "steer" or "bullock", annoyingly enough. But the verb menar means to herd cattle. So, perhaps, Menéir would be a suitable surname?
