About Myself:I respect people and their opinions, regardless of their race, ethnicity, sexual orientation and religion. I respect private property, I value economic freedom (free market), individual rights, property, armament (self-defense), freedom of expression, and everything else that makes a just society prosper. I also appreciate the release of drugs as an individual right of consumption.
I currently work in the information technology field. And my hobby is investing in cryptocurrencies.
Why I am Interested in Becoming a Talossan:The nations already formed many decades or centuries ago... are in their vast majority without freedom, and collapsing. Let's make Kingdom of Talossa different, an ideal for the future.
I am willing to help the country to grow (even remotely in the current conjecture) with ideas, services, research, and other work that Kingdom of Talossa is in demand. Feel free to see my summary of works at LinkedIn.
Where did you hear about the Kingdom of Talossa?Random internet surfing
Azul/Welcome Erisson to the Kingdom:
First, I have always wanted to visit Brazil so it is a pleasure to chat with a Brazilian.
You mention investing in cryptocurrencies which is interesting. I tried it with a small sum of money and found the volatility was too high. What currencies do you prefer at the moment? I was interested in Cardano (ADA).

Azul,
Cool, If you like beaches, and waterfalls, sun, and things like that, the best places are in the northeast region. If you prefer the cold, south region.
I try to compensate for this high volatility by diversifying investments in more than one currency.
For a long time, always thinking about the long term, I prefer currencies: Cronos (CRO), Ecomi (OMI), Holo (HOT), ... Monero (XMR) and Trust Wallet (TWT) it's interesting too.
The market is going down, nothing else goes down forever, just as it doesn't go up forever. A tip is to choose the strategy well, study well, and invest responsibly.

I'm a bit of a crypto investor myself. I only hold Bitcoin, but I've heard good things about Monero, given how anonymous it is.
Welcome to Talossa!
I've never been able to grasp crypto - as in the whole just getting started thing or which to choose, etc. I've always invested my money in annuities. I'm always been curios though.
Azul!
Interesting topic, crypto.
I remembered a friend bought a domain name of a local politician and asked monero for it. Haha.
That was my first impression on crypto, lol.
I now hodl XMR, BTC, ETH, FanToM and lol, DOGEcoin, like 30 of them. Just for the laughs.
What other things do you find interesting?
Glad to see you around!

Glad :)

I have heard of Cronos and Monero but not Ecomi and Holo. What do you like about these currencies specifically?

Crypto.com will sponsor the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, because of this I believe that Cronos (crypto.com native cryptocurrency) may have a high valuation. I just think and hope.
Monero, for the search for privacy, which is a very popular topic.
Ecomi, for the collectibles market with licensing agreements with companies such as Cartoon Network, DC Comics, ... (VeVe digital collectibles - www.veve.me)
Holo, holochain.org ... for being an alternative to "blockchain", and it's still worth pennies as well.

Yes, what I know and read about him is through the website Instituto Ludwig von Mises Brasil - mises.org.br ... I just read and learn. I'm not part of the club.
Already books I have on the subjects, are by other authors.

Always good to find others who are interested in Austrian economics. I have several books from the Mises Institute myself (I just finished
Man, Economy, and State with Power and Market yesterday; haven't tried
Human Action yet).

Cool, the last books I read by authors of the Mises Institute are .. (Democracy: The God That Failed, by Hans-Hermann Hoppe; Defending the Undefendable, by Walter Block).
Both of those are great reads. How did you hear about the Mises Institute?

Is there any project for Talossa to have its currency in digital format?

Having the bent as a cryptocurrency. Y'know, I can actually get up for that. Wonder how one could make it work...I only have a vague understanding of crypto and how it's usually organized/produced, it seems like having some sort of central structure (for lack of a better option, we'll say the Royal Bank and Post) runs counter to the usual decentralized, amorphous chaos that "governs" most cryptocurrencies.

See/Read this project --> https://akoncity.com/
City + Own digital currency. Opening forecast for the year 2036, apparently.
Coin has already been released --> https://www.akoin.io/
Any other currency **stablecoin** could be accepted in Talossa (digital currency paired in USDT dollar or PAXG gold, ...), until the day that Talossa's own currency was available.

Yes, it could start with some stablecoin, they have less oscillation, as they are paired in Dollar, Gold, or any other. *https://academy.binance.com/en/glossary/stablecoin
It would not be centralized in the Bank of Talossa, but it is much simpler to manage.

I think it is a great idea. More to start would be better for some stablecoin.

Excellent, thanks.
I don't know what the structure of the bank in Talossa is like, but an institutional account could be opened in a trusted brokerage worldwide, and stablecoin managed there, donations for example. That's easier.
Talossa's own coin, on the other hand, would be a more laborious step, which could be left later.
I personally am very, very suspicious about crypto-currency. "There is no such thing as an unbreakable code". The studiously cynical side of me suggests that crypto may well turn out to be a "scam" - the tip of a "pyramid scheme" iceberg. In cryptography, I worked for some years (on the technical side) with a group of more than a hundred world-class cryptographers - and I am very, very suspicious.

How could bitcoin be a pyramid scheme? Everyone participating in the market knows what it is and why it is valuable. It is not like other cryptos (colloquially called "s*$tcoins") which are created and sold by a single entity hoping to convince enough other dupes of their worth.
With regard to the code aspect, in order for Bitcoin to be hacked, someone would have to change the ledger on the majority of the millions of disconnected bitcoin nodes throughout the world. That appears nigh on impossible.
