As we look to the next election, the task has fallen to myself to lead the party into the Next Cosa, and for this election there is one issue and one issue alone that I will, along with those who stand with us, is simple. King John has, since the RUMP days has treated subsequent governments with contempt, and the last few years has just been almost absent from Talossan life. Has vetoed legislation that he personally did not like, and has acted improper with how the world expects a constitutional monarch to behave, regardless of the powers the Monarch has, they should be in line with the government of the day in a democratic society that we have in Talossa, and for far to long Talossa has been held back by the inactive and unreachable "King" John.

The TNC is obviously favoured by the King, and if they gain power, it is likely that any hard-fought battles on monarchy will be flushed down the toilet. Especially if they gain a 2/3rd majority. This Cannot happen.

We in the FreeDems demand and will stand on one thing in the coming Election Cycle, REMOVING King John from the throne, and pushing for a more unbiased monarch before we move forward with any reforms, as the Monarch is standing in the way of progress, and has time and time again proved that he does not respect the office which he holds, and the country he serves, if he did, he would have been doing his job and been more active the last few years, instead he has been a monarch in hiding,

The only way we can and will move forward as a country is when this useless King is removed from power and replaced with someone upto the tasks the office entails. And the King MUST NOT have a say in the successor, the way forward on that is an issue to be decided later, but The King must either abdicate or be removed from office. And that will be our goal in the next Cosa.
