Team informationEach team needs to consist of 9 riders, with a combined total cost of 100 credits. These need to include 2 all rounders, 2 climbers, 1 sprinter, 3 unclassified riders, and 1 wildcard (which can be any category).
It is possible to use less than 100 credits, but this is not advisable unless you really know what you are doing!!
Generally, the credits assigned to the riders are pretty close to the consensus expection of how these riders will perform. This means it is possible to do well without much research, though of course if you do want to research your team there are many resources online.
A full list of participating riders, categories and credits can be found here: https://www.velogames.com/velogame/2023/riders.php
NB: not all details of the lineup are known yet. There will likely still be riders added and removed before the deadline, so please be aware of this! The rules for the competition can be found here: https://www.velogames.com/velogame/2023/rules.php. (Note that we are only focused on the classic competition: 1 team that stays the same throughout the race. You can of course also participate in the additional stage hunter competition if you want to, but we will not be reporting this on witt as part of the Talossan Cycling association tour)
The scoring system can be found here: https://www.velogames.com/velogame/2023/scores.php
(Points can be won for stage results, intermediate sprints/king of the mountain points, participating in breakaways, daily classification standings, final classification standings and team assist points.)

Stay tuned for the next episode of Centraseira as well
Btw, it has been clearly established by previous that doing prior research is no guarantee for doing well and teams can still be competitive without doing research, but for those that like numbers and stats and want to have a look at previous results and rankings of various riders: www.procyclingstats.com is where Lüc and me get pretty much all information. They also have a nice liveblog during the event.
Any regrets, TCAT managers? :)
