I'm wondering if there's a labor union of some sort? If people are given roles in this world, are there worker's rights and protections?

I think I'd better start by correcting a possible misconception. This isn't a "world", this isn't an RPG; it's a real community of people which
just so happens to organise itself in the form of a small kingdom in North America.
Secondly: there was a Talossan Workers' Party at one point with the mission you describe, but it was kind of ephemeral.
Thirdly: there is only one "employer" of any size, that being the Royal Civil Service (https://wiki.talossa.com/Royal_Civil_Service) (every other activity would best be described as "self-employed"), and honestly I think if you want to be a labor organiser you should talk to royal civil servants about what their needs are.

Sorry, I need to consider my word diction more and I understand more clearly now. I was thinking, even the ones in the Ziu would need worker protections. What about ensuring that there's no workplace bullying, etc? But, I'm also guessing that everything written in the forum and in the nation is incredibly civil?

At a bare minimum, we do have what we call "Wittiquette", which like any set of online forum rules governs how we try to interact with each other here.

Who do you think can regulate this interactions? It's an interesting idea.
I used to run a paper that paid its contributors (a pittance), but to my knowledge that's been the only actual paid labor in Talossan history. They did not have a union. I would have been delighted if they'd formed one, since it would have been extremely cool to be a tyrannical boss.
