What the Kingdom of Talossa Needs

It seems that there are more people trying to run a government (even if no one has a full cabinet within their own party), rather than people who want to invest their time into doing things worth doing for the Kingdom. We urge the parties to start building bridges again, as soon as possible.

I still don't fully know what have you politicians been up to in these past 6 months, so I'm not entirely up to date, really. But sometimes I feel that time was still while I was gone.

Do we really need to make it a government thing to change the database?
Do we really need to make it a government thing to contact other micronations?

Hahaha, of course not! I could have thought that the Kingdom, working as one would have solved these issues by itself but it sometimes seems that the fighting is more delicious than the issue-solving.

Then it hit me. We really need a King/Queen. An apolitical leader whom can work with anyone and push for the issue-solving granting Kingdom-points or whatever system works for each. I'm glad we're all moving in that direction.

When I joined I thought I was gonna have fun doing special-interests things with people from all over the world, and to be fair I have been doing that, and I freaking love it. And I intend to keep doing that.

I will use this space, the COFFEE platform to call for action and bridge-building.

What's next for the COFFEE for the 60th Cosa?

All I know is there are no public Seneschal candidates yet and we are about to run out of time (again). So I will ask my good colleagues to please share information about the issue.

(From oldest to newest according to Wiki)
A. The Independent Party @Dame Litz Cjantscheir, UrN
B. Free Democrats of Talossa. @Miestră Schivă, UrN
C. Partì da Reformaziun @Mic'haglh Autófil, SMC EiP
D. Progressive Alliance. @þerxh Sant-Enogat

1. Who is your Candidate for Seneschal?
2. Do you have a possible Cabinet members list?
3. What is your favorite colour?

I will say here and now that I am willing to work with any of these Parties as a Minister (or like a regular citizen too, really), so please take that into consideration if you want.

1. The Free Democrat party leader is our de facto preferred candidate for Seneschal. I assume that every other party's leader is also their de facto preferred candidate for Seneschal, so it seems a weird question.

2. I don't think it's especially useful to draw up Cabinet lineups before we know who's going to be in Cabinet, so again, it seems a weird question. But here is a preliminary lineup of my personal feelings of who could do a job on my side:

Miestră Schiva
MC: Seneschal, Justice, Technology
Antalglha Xhenerös Somelieir MC: Culture, Immigration, Foreign Affairs
Senator Ian Plätschisch: Finance, Defence
Bentxamì Puntmasleu: STUFF

But given that, and depending on how the numbers stack up, I would be also happy to sit in Cabinet with Bråneu Excelsio, Mic'haglh Autófil, Þerxh Sant-Enogat and even (*cough* *splutter*) Baron Davinescu. I also have a very small "NO, NOT THEM" list :D

But given all of the above, I think it's a very minor question in forming a government compared to programme. As in the 57th Cosa, where we set aside our Seneschal candidate in exchange for other concessions.

3. Blue. No - YELLOW! AAAAAAAAAAAA

Thank you for your answers! I will await  for the others to chime in, but I'll say now that I'm glad to see the Free Democrats willing to work with others, so thanks!

Braneu here, writing from the COFFEE Headquarters.

I joined the Avant! Multiparty Accord (https://wittenberg.talossa.com/index.php?topic=3304.0) because it is a melting pot of political views with a clear path forward. I deeply respect their efforts. It's inspiring when people fight for what they believe in and build a community.

A vote for COFFEE is a vote for a clear agenda and a better future for our Kingdom!.

Satire in government is cool in my opinion, after all people in government are humans.
