Title: Talossan Coffee Day 2024
Post by: Bråneu Excelsio, UrN on July 16, 2024, 08:11:30 PM
On July 22, 2022, the first Talossan Coffee Day was celebrated.

Two years after the first edition, all citizens are still invited to drink and really enjoy a cup of coffee
alone or in company and to share a photo of the occasion in Wittenberg on Monday, July 22.

Perhaps an Americano? An intense espresso? A sweet latte? A strong cold brew?

What will you drink?

Ah, perfect, because my new Chemex arrives in about 14 hours.

The first one had...an accident.

Ouch. You bought it with the wooden thing or the plastic thing?

Wooden, the traditional design. It was knocked over by a little gray aschantì who shall remain nameless when he jumped up on the counter last week.

I just remembered we were going to try something along the lines of "Hot beverage Day" but I already made the flyer and thread.

Nice, the classic cézembrean press.

The true name for the method, of course. ;)

And this is me, your Consul for Cézembre in Vuode and Deputy Minister of STUFF drinking a cappuccino with cinnamon today.

The cappuccino in question.

Here I'm reflecting on how nice Talossa is, how it's a cool escape
from reality and over my contributions for this country.

Up-close shot I guess.

( @Bråneu Excelsio could I become a member of COFFEE? ;) )

Finally! It's todaaay

For my Talossan Coffee Day 2024, I made a V60.

I made a blend that I'm enjoying very much these days.
It's 40% natural (the one on the left) and 60% washed coffee (on the right).

The washed coffee is very mild, nutty but not woody.
The natural coffee is a bomb. Here's the picture from the roaster:

I needed to tame that natural coffee because it was fermented in wooden barrels and that's too much for me.

I told my wife that today was Talossan Coffee Day and that we needed to really enjoy it so we did.
I'm about to have my second cup of the day at 4pm @ work, I'm sharing it with two colleagues.

Thanks for sharing your cups too! @xpb @Barclamïu da Miéletz !!
