Hi, has anyone used Letterboxd? It's this app for people who likes to watch movies a lot.
I used it a few years ago but got really into it recently because some students mentioned it in class and now I have a few followers because of it.
It's basically an app for people who likes to track movies and maybe want to comment them with other people.
I like that you can put your 4 favorite movies in your profile (tough thing, I find myself changing 2 of them constantly) and easily track your watchlist, save what you've seen and rate the movies if you want (that's what people like to do the most)

I haven't seen Elizabeth, Somewhere in Time nor Pride and Prejudice to be honest, and I find Star Wars Episode IV a little bit out of place in that list but I completely understand it because it's so good, I find it wholesome even, I'm a Star Wars fan as well. I think I have 3 or 4 lightsabers somewhere in boxes.
I really want to see Pride and Prejudice, I'm always getting FOMO when people start talking about it because I know it's such a classic. I will add that (for starters) to my watchlist.

I saw BTTF for the first time when I was 30 in 2020, I remember it being a huge hit but never had the chance. It was fun. I always mix the story of 1 and 2, it's a blur but a blur I enjoy. The thunder, the clock, the paradox.
Haven't seen Gran Budapest nor Casino Royale. I've seen memes from Casino Royale, specially the poker scene, because I enjoy Poker heh. I haven't seen the movies of Wes Anderson (Except Mr Fox) but I've seen stills from every movie, I know his aesthetic and I particularly enjoyed Fantastic Mr Fox so he's very alright in my book. I'll add The Grand Budapest to my watchlist as well.

I've seen both
Fantastic Mr. Fox and
Isle of Dogs -- both of them show such attention to background detail, which for a stop-motion film has to be very labor-intensive, and I enjoyed them both quite a bit.
GBH has always felt to me like a birthday cake for the eyes in some regards. The visuals are amazing, the casting fantastic, everything just
works.
My top four movies aren't great masterpieces of cinema, (or are they?)but I love them and can watch them over and over again, and I guess that's the only criteria you really need.
The Wizard of Oz. Seen it a thousand times and still love it.
Night of the Living Dead. I know all the dialogue to this one by heart. (True fact, the lead zombie in this, Bill Hinzman...I used to work with his sister. I didn't realize that she was related to him until she missed work when he died.)
Superman 2. Specifically, the ABC television premiere version, which I have on VHS (taped it off tv the night it aired), which has never been officially released in any format. It's the absolute best version of this movie. (I love this movie, I've seen all versions of it.)
Goodfellas. This is one you can start watching halfway thru, and can't stop until it's over. Scorsese's best gangster flick.
Honorable mentions: Zodiac (David Fincher), Blade Runner (The Final Cut), Yankee Doodle Dandy, The Seven Samurai, Little Shop of Horrors (Roger Corman version), Dawn of the Dead (1978), Once Upon a Time in the West...damn, too many to mention! (Jackie Brown is Tarantino's best movie, you will never convince me otherwise.)
