Title: Micronational Recognition
Post by: King Txec on February 12, 2025, 07:22:03 AM
Azul,

I've been on a grand tour as part of my accession, putting our Kingdom out there for others to see. Some of my contacts have paid off (see the image).

I'm also considering reaching out to the Sultan of Slowjamastan as his country is quite literally an hour and a half drive from my palace. I hope it won't be overstepping my government if I made a visit with the Sultan at some point in the future.

The Head of State should for sure be Talossa's top diplomat. Well done.

I saw that you (King) had responded to the announcement of the death of the founder of Pibocip. Before he quit Talossa, Eiric B. and myself had begun to introduce ourselves and Talossa to Pibocip, in hopes of establishing some kind of diplomatic relationship. (Pibocip is in Youngstown, Ohio, just a few miles away from us.) We had discussed meeting with the Pibocip representatives for dinner somewhere. Anyhow, I remember someone telling me that we couldn't initiate relationships with other micronations without some kind of official approval, like there were official protocols in place or something, so we abandoned the idea. Well, actually, I think Eiric and I planned to still meet them in an unofficial capacity, but then he quit Talossa, and I sure as hell wasn't going to go by myself to dinner with complete strangers. Anyhow, we were going to try.

I don't know much about the late king but I felt I needed to express my royal condolences. I find it interesting that you live so close. I'm a huge fan of reaching out to other micro nations.
