For many years, starting in approximately 1985, the "Berber Hypothesis" floated around Talossa.
QuoteThe Berber Hypothesis: Ancient North African Berbers contributed to the ancient
history of Talossa through their involvement in the prehistory of our European
ancestors, and also by creating the ancient Moundbuilder culture on Talossan
soil, thereby counting among Talossa's spiritual and physical ancestors.
The Berber Hypothesis became the official orthodoxy of Talossa and to quote King Ben, "only Talossans can say "brrr-brrr!" on a cold day and get the pun." While the "hypothesis" was more of a joke, in November 1994 the Cosa narrowly passed the "You Are What You Talk About, And You Talk About Berbers, Act" Unfortunately the 5th Clark of the 18th Cosa has vanished into the mists of time, but the Act itself is memorialized in

The Berber Project "It is such an oddball association that even if it is not true, it ought to be."
El Lex F.2.1 declares February 28-March 1 as Ziuas dal Anavatan, which then leads the nation into Berber Heritage Month while El Lex F.5.2.1 declares that "All citizens are encouraged to express themselves in whatever medium is appropriate, on the question of Talossa's real or imagined Berbercentric prehistory."
In the spirit of Ziuas dal Anavatan and Berber Heritage Month, I present this video:
