I thought I'd also point out that, as of this month, it's been exactly 40 years since the first democratic elections (to the First Cosă). We've sure come a long way!
I am beyond pleased that the kingdom has now been democratically electing representatives to the Ziu in one form or another for forty years. It is an amazing accomplishment and we should do all that we can as the stewards of that legacy to keep the tradition alive in a world where authoritarianism is increasingly on the rise.
