WHEREAS it has been more than a fortnight since
@Alexandre Golliet first posted on Wittenberg, following his introduction to the citizens of the Kingdom by officers of the Immigration Ministry, and
WHEREAS he has, in that time, demonstrated an active, genuine, and continuing interest in Talossan life, language and culture, and
WHEREAS he desires citizenship in the Kingdom of Talossa, and
WHEREAS by all indications it appears that he would be a loyal and dedicated citizen, and a credit to this nation if he obtains the grant of citizenship he requests,
THEREFORE I, þerxh Sant-Enogat, a citizen of good standing of the province of Cézembre and of the Kingdom of Talossa, do hereby petition the Secretary of State
@Sir Lüc to issue a grant of citizenship to Prospective Citizen Aleks Golliet, as specified by law.
Mick!
Awaiting MinImm certification before I send over the oath.
Certified
Oath sent over by PM.
... I can't find any legal provision for what happens if an accepted citizen just doesn't take the oath. Does their application stand open indefinitely?
When I was SoS I read the law as if month stoves within 10 days, the petition is no longer valid.

So does that mean the application lapses?
I always canceled then while I was Sos.

Fine. As the prospective immigrant has not submitted the oath of allegiance within 30 days, the immigration process for the prospective citizen is terminated. They can of course re-commence the procedure if they're still interested.
