Since the electoral results have been certified by the Electoral Commission on April 13, 2025, we must call the next session of the Nimlet within 10 days, and since we don't have an acting governor in accordance with Section 5 of our Constitution this role falls to the constable.


Section 5. Composition of the House of Shepherds.
No later than the tenth calendar day following the certification of the election, the Governor of Florencia, or in the absence of an incumbent Governor, the Constable of Florencia, shall:

(a) Determine and fix the total number of seats for the new term of the Shepherds, which number shall be equal to the number of ballots returned in the election, less those returned and indicating "Present", plus one additional seat for each incumbent Senator for Florencia, plus one additional seat for the Governor;

(b) Apportion among those political parties, which have received votes in the election, their respective proportional share of the number of remaining seats with respect to their electoral performance, after the assignments to the Senators and Governor; and

(c) Fix the date for the commencement of the session of the new Nimlet, to be not later than the thirtieth day following the aforesaid certification.

I propose to help the Constable with her work and I suggest the following seat distribution:

We have 5 valid votes for a party. In accordance with our constitution, we must vote for a party and not for an individual, therefore one ballot has been rejected.

There will be 7 seats in this Nimlet: 2 for the Progressive Alliance, 2 for the Green Party, and 1 for !Avant. 1 seat will go to Senator Mximo Carbonèl, and 1 will remain vacant for the Governor.

Since I do not have the power to act but only the authority to make a recommendation to the constable, We therefore request that she act with diligence and promptly.

Finally, we request that the Constable appoint a new Governor as soon as possible in order to fill the vacancy. As a Senator, I cannot assume that role.

Fantastic news. Here's the description of the Governor's responsibilities according to our provincial Constitution:

Also, as the timeline for establishing of the Nimlet has expired, and not being well versed in the Constitution of Florencia, we seek guidance as to whether it is permissible under Florencian law to re-establish the timelines under section 4 of the Constitution of Florencia (read: the King does not wish to be sued!).

At this time, my understanding of the distribution of the seats is that:

• Those of the Green Party will be filled by Mximo Carbonèl, per the other thread.

I am aware that it is the will of the ¡Avant! Coalition that their seat be filled by Açafat del Val, and I will respect that when I receive advice on a valid method of doing so.

We still need the assignment of the two seats of the Progressive Alliance, whose leader is þerxh Sant-Enogat.

In any case, I don't want to open the Nimlet without all the seats filled according to the wishes of their parties.

Ehh, screw it, alright, I'll open the Nimlet and do the confidence vote, and if someone wants to draft a resolution to revise III.5, that'd be great (I'll do one, too, but I'd prefer my take not to be the only one).

The XXIIIrd session of the Nimlet of Florenciă is now convened.
