Apologies for the off-topic.
As this called my attention I was going to ask if the preposition always contracted with the article regardless of the noun's gender, but it intrigued me too much and I went ahead and looked on Hool's guide and found it right there on §2.2.1, page 44: both for masculine and feminine nouns, the contraction is always "àl".
So, there, just wanted to share that tidbit of information and insert a reference to Hool's Guizua.
