Are you having a hard time keeping track of the increasingly ludicrous Progressive Alliance promises?  Do you love bullet point plans and want to print them out to cradle you gently while you sleep?  Well, we have good news for you!  Just look below for an index to our alliterative campaign platform!

Immigration
The people deserve a Government that cares
(https://wittenberg.talossa.com/index.php?topic=4188.0)

The Progressive Alliance will prioritize immigration, the lifeblood of our country, by working to publicize the issue, trying lots of new ideas, and setting reasonable goals.

Infotecă
The people deserve to know what's happening in their country.

The Progressive Alliance will update and support Infotecă.  We believe in transparency: the people have a right to know.

Initiative
The people deserve less red tape and more efficient government
(https://wittenberg.talossa.com/index.php?topic=4398.0)

The Progressive Alliance will cut administrative red tape and reduce bureaucracy, so no one's time is wasted and everyone's enthusiasm is valued.

Innovation
The people deserve new solutions for a new day
(https://wittenberg.talossa.com/index.php?topic=4204.0)

The Progressive Alliance will provide a fresh look at our web presence, making sure our online tools are being used in the best way possible.

Inspiration
The people deserve a new kind of politics
(https://wittenberg.talossa.com/index.php?topic=4394.0)

The Progressive Alliance will work to ensure that there is space for joy to thrive, so that our culture will not just survive -- it will grow.

Illegality
The people deserve some of the money we're going to steal
(https://wittenberg.talossa.com/index.php?topic=4400.0)

The Progressive Alliance will steal money from His Majesty and then distribute it among the people.

Infrastructure
The people deserve support for their ideas
(https://wittenberg.talossa.com/index.php?topic=4417)

The Progressive Alliance will make access to government infrastructure easier, promote a repository of useful files and images, and create starter kits for everyone to use.

Illumination
The people deserve transparency from their government
(https://wittenberg.talossa.com/index.php?topic=4422)

The Progressive Alliance will promise never to secretly block potential immigrants, and we will pass legislation to eliminate this government power.  No bureaucrat should secretly control immigration.

A resident of the UK recently let me know that the image hosting service Imgur has been blocked in that region; I'm currently looking for an alternative.

IF you don't mind, Baron, please let me know what alternative you find, as many of my images are hosted on Imgur. Perhaps there is a way to host them on talossa.com?

We could definitely host them on the wiki, but that's cumbersome and requires giving up some rights (it's not an image hosting service).  And similarly, it's not very easy to just put them on the national website, even for those with access rights.

I will definitely let you know what I find, Your Majesty!

I wonder if @Danihel Txechescu could set up some type of digital locker or upload page that could host just pictures. I bet it wouldn't be hard to do.

One problem I found: some of the alternative services I tried today were viewable in the UK, but blocked by default at my school network!

However, Imgbox (https://imgbox.com/) seems okay?

This article from the BBC (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c4gzxv5gy3qo) might explain it.

Imgur has recently blocked all UK users from viewing or uploading content after the Information Commissioner's Office began investigating its handling of children's data and age checks. So, as off the 30th September, the company that owns Imgur, MediaLab AI, decided to withdraw from the UK entirely.

As a result, any Imgur-hosted images now appear as "content not available in your region" for UK users. So, as someone based in the UK (and wanting to avoid having to use VPNs to see images in posts), I'd certainly appreciate it if Imgur could be avoided in future.

Yes, this is my kind of thing. Let me look for some alternative that would work for us.

It will most definitely require authentication to upload images, so I'll talk to Sir Lüc to work on a solution to this before we can open the service to the general populace.

Wow, that would be amazing!

Side note: the wiki won't work as a host for images, either, since the new bot-check blocks fetching images.

I've started to switch to https://imgbb.com/

I'm afraid once alternatives get big, though, they'll have the same issue as Imgur in adhering to the new UK laws.
