October is just a few days way and so BHAID is nearly officially into its second decade. There are few Talossan organizations to have lived as long and to have contributed to such good.
The Ziu of the Kingdom of Talossa just passed a Sense of the Ziu honoring the Bureau of Humanitarian Aid and International Development (BHAID) for that first decade. The following, from that Sense, is worthy of reiterating:
QuoteTHEREFORE, be it resolved, that the Ziu of the Kingdom of Talossa formally celebrates and commends the Bureau for Humanitarian Aid and International Development on achieving a decade of dedicated service since its founding, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that we honor the commitment of the Bureau's founders, public servants in the Foreign Affairs ministry, and donors from the Talossan community and beyond, whose collective efforts have helped the Kingdom to advance human dignity and international solidarity, and
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that we encourage the continued growth of BHAID's work in the next decade, inspired by the proud tradition of Talossan humanitarianism.
As leader of the Green Party, as a BHAID co-founder, and as a Talossan who sincerely believes that our humanitarian activities present an opportunity to bring people together to do good (humans helping other humans) I express my deep gratitude to those who voted in support of the bill rather than abstain or vote against:
@Iason Taiwos @Leonardo Miguel Carvalho Marques @þerxh Sant-Enogat @Þon Txoteu É. Davinescu, O.SPM @xpb @Muhammed Yasir With hope for the future I now say let's get to work in this next decade of Talossan humanitarianism.
