November-December 2025 General Election - Wittenberg Polling Station

The General Election is now open, and will remain so until December 1st at 5 PM (17:00) TST (23:00 UTC).

Ballots will be sent shortly after this post is up. If you don't receive yours, or spot a potential error, you should PM me or post on the feedback thread.

HOW TO VOTE

You can vote in either of the following ways:

• by casting an electronic ballot on the Database: https://database.talossa.com/elections/november-2025-general-elections/vote (https://database.talossa.com/elections/november-2025-general-elections/vote)
• by posting on Wittenberg on the official polling place thread (this one)
• by compiling the PDF ballot included with the ballot email and sending it by email to this same address
• by compiling the PDF ballot included with the ballot email and sending it by post (snail mail) - contact the Secretary of State for instructions

Either way, the first vote I receive is the one that counts. As per the Organic Law, all votes are final, and cannot be retracted, modified or altered in any way: if multiple votes are sent, only the first one is counted. The only exception is that if you vote on the Cosa part, but forgot to vote on the Senate part, you may cure your ballot by adding your Senate vote before the election deadline.

B. Elections to the Senate
If you are a citizen of Fiovă, Florenciă, Maricopa or Maritiimi-Maxhestic, you are also voting for your next Senator. The following people have declared their candidacy:

C. Organic Referenda

D. Provincial
Important: check your provincial board first. While the Chancery means to facilitate provincial elections, these are not under its purview and voting threads will normally be opened in your province's board. This comment will be updated to reflect such situations and to redirect you if that becomes the case.

Depending on your province:

• Atatürk: vote for a party to represent you in the House of Commons
• Belacostă: indicate whether you wish to claim a seat in the Provincial Assembly, AND rank three citizens of Belacostă to elect to the Provincial Council

I have entered your votes for parts A and C.

Your votes for parts B and D are invalid, and have been registered as Present votes, because in the first case S:r Tzaracomprada is running for the Florencian Senate seat while you're a citizen of Fiovă, and I cannot even record him as a write-in choice because he is not eligible to represent a different province anyway; and in the second case, because  your province elects people to its Presidium, not parties, so a vote for a party is meaningless. The latter instance happened to you in the last general election as well.

In other words, you appear to have likely copypasted someone else's vote, both in the last and in the current elections. You should probably avoid doing so, because just by living in a different province you're likely spoiling your ballot and forfeiting your chance at having your vote counted.
