To all Talossans:
I am writing this to tell you all that I am taking an indefinite sabbatical from Talossan life. I have real life problems and ambitions that need me to "lock in", as people my age say. I'll still vote for the Clark by email, but other than that, I won't be as active as I was for the time being.
Thank you for your understanding.

This may be off-topic, but who called you "the Talossan Nick Fuentes"? I have issues with your politics but you've never expressed antisemitism, which is the defining politics of Catboy-Fancier Fuentes

I called myself that because I feel persecuted similarly as he is, but I'll change it if it offends anyone

Just for the record, Nick Fuentes is not being "persecuted". He is rightfully *condemned* as his vile ideas and pugnacious rhetoric have no place in polite society. No one has said nor suggested that about you.
It is important to understand, especially here, that political differences must stop at the water's edge. We may disagree all day long about policy, but we're all Talossans at the end of the day. I hope you understand that because despite how contentious your views may be, your interest in our language and culture is surely appreciated by everyone here.
Take care of yourself! I hope you'll at least continue to be involved in the language society or with the language in some capacity.
I understand that macronational politics shouldn't impinge on Talossa, but Max has made the mistake of bringing his politics into Talossa with that little comment. These are politics that I think a supermajority of us would find obscene. Fuentes is persona non grata even by the standards of US reactionaries. I mean, look at this miéida from today (https://www.timesofisrael.com/after-tucker-carlson-piers-morgan-interviews-antisemite-and-holocaust-denier-nick-fuentes/).
I would expect to get dragged if, for example, as Seneschal I were to casually mention that Luigi Mangione did nothing wrong*. People would have the right to question whether I should be in a position of authority. Luckily, Max seems to have solved the problem for us, but I'd like conformation from the Progressive Alliance that they'll be picking a new Minster of Culture. This could be the basis for re-opening confidence/supply negotiations with the URL.
* I do not actually think Mangione did nothing wrong (https://www.marxists.org/archive/trotsky/1911/11/tia09.htm), this is just an example.
We will be picking a new Culture Minister. A vote is already in progress as the party decides on its options.
Wow. What a roller coaster this is.
