*Updating to the Royal Talossan Naval Relief Corps
Hello folks, as a private donor I am issuing an appeal to
join me in making a donation to the Bureau for Humanitarian Aid and International Development (BHAID) Royal Talossan Naval Relief Corps (RTNRC). I am pledging to match a total of $100 USD to the
BHAID RTNRC so that we can hopefully raise at least $200 USD to go toward RTNRC's contributions to relief and development globally. The end of the private appeal will be February 10, 2026!
I quote these inspiring words from the
BHAID's RTNRC's founding legislation:

By giving to
BHAID RTNRC, you become part of a global effort of compassion — helping those who need it most to find safety, stability, and a future worth living.
If you have a specific cause you would encourage the
BHAID RTNRC to consider contributing then please be sure to make the clear as well. When I donate I will likely be suggesting cancer research funding or humanitarian support to Haiti or Venezuela.

I am re-upping this appeal and think it is a good idea to encourage the donation from the funds raised go to cancer research as the scourge has touched the lives of many Talossans.

Donating is a worthy cause. While the Queen and I donated a couple thousand dollars to charity last month I don't know if we will be able to give to this concern (I donated $300 to the American Cancer Society as one of the donations), but I do encourage Talossans in general that when possible, giving to those in need is always a good thing to consider doing.

Folks, please follow the King's generous example and should you choose the BHAID it will be most appreciated.
I am going to re-up this appeal for donations to the BHAID.
The King has given to cancer research in his own personal affairs. And the Seneschal has agreed to transfer the reimbursement for sending the Seneschal's Chain of Office to the BHAID as a donation.
Folks, there is a great deal of need in the world and, I know, Talossa's capability to meet that need might be greatly limited but it is not nonexistent. Please join me in contributing to one of the Kingdom's longstanding organizations. As a reminder, the first $100 dollars in donations will be matched by me.

You mentioned work being busy so I know a reply might be delayed but I've seen you online so known you are around.
Feel free to respond here or in private at your convenience. Would the Naval Relief Corps be interested in cooperating on the Cancer Relief donation drive with the BHAID?
Now that the Royal Talossan Naval Relief Corps (RTNRC) is up and running with a royal patronage I am switching my donation appeal to the RTNRC. It is an honor to support this honorable venture by my Talossan pal, Sir Iason.
The donation appeal ends on February 10, 2026 with the first $100 raised being matched by me.
One more day for the donation drive for the Royal Talossan Naval Relief Corps. If no one else donates we will at least have $100 for the Corps to get started but it would be nice to see more for the best start possible.
We received a goose egg in donations for the new and royally-patroned Royal Talossan Naval Relief Corps but with private matching backing of $100, the RTNRC now has $100 in the bank.
@Iason Taiwos As the RTNRC leader I wanted to get your thoughts on good organizations to make the organization's first donation. I think we had previously discussed cancer research as the focus of the first donation.
