Sure -- the role of information liaison was very carefully designed so that it was not "a position representing their fellow citizens or wielding government authority." Such a liaison is gathering information, but is specifically not empowered to represent the Kingdom of Talossa and has no power to make any decisions. There is no current prospect of the Information Liaison for Asgardia being placed in a position of power or serving as a representative of the Kingdom of Talossa.

Information Liaison
Civil service role supporting Talossan government efforts to research other entities without acting in a formal diplomatic capacity
Position Summary
An Information Liaison serves as an independent investigator and collector of information about an external entity (such as a micronation, community, organization, or group). The Information Liaison's primary responsibility is to research, monitor, and report accurate and relevant information back to the Talossan Government to support internal decision-making, potential future engagement, or understanding of the entity's culture, structure, activities, and relevance. Unlike ambassadors or consuls, an Information Liaison does not represent Talossa in official diplomatic functions, negotiate agreements, or act as a legal representative of Talossan interests.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct research and information gathering on designated entities, including their organization, leadership, practices, public presence, platforms, and relevant developments.
Compile written reports summarizing findings, trends, risks, opportunities, and notable facts for delivery to the appropriate Talossan ministry or department.
Maintain an up-to-date information file on assigned entity/entities, including reliable sources, contacts, and background materials.
Monitor public communications (websites, forums, publications, social media, events) related to the entity and flag significant changes or opportunities.
Provide contextual analysis of collected information to help Talossa officials understand external groups' structures, relevance, or potential for engagement.
Work independently and impartially without acting as an official envoy, ambassador, or spokesperson for Talossa.
Respect privacy, public forums, and ethical standards in all research activities.
Scope & Limits
This role is not a diplomatic posting and does not confer ambassadorial status, diplomatic privileges, or authority to negotiate on behalf of Talossa.
The Information Liaison is not authorized to enter formal agreements, sign treaties, or publicly represent Talossan government positions.
Liaison activities are limited to information collection, analysis, and reporting.
Qualifications:
Strong research and analytical skills, with ability to find, verify, and synthesize information from multiple sources.
Excellent written communication and report drafting abilities.
Familiarity with online research tools, open-source intelligence techniques, or community observation practices is a plus.
Comfortable operating independently and engaging respectfully with public information sources.
Basic understanding of Talossan law, culture, and government structure

The first two Information Liaisons should discuss together the basic information to gather, as well at the SWOT analysis which may suggest no action or future action in each case. These initial investigations may arrive at a report format for ongoing inquiries. Once an inquiry is completed and a report submitted and accepted, then an information liaison may be released, possibly to take up gathering information on another entity. Others who wish to become an Information Liaison for other listed entities, or other entities that they may suggest to be added, are invited to apply.

This is not so much an adjustment as an admission that the PA Government does not take the concept of the cultural boycott of sex pests with as much seriousness as we would hope.
As anyone in the Cabinet can tell you, we were quite careful and insistent to ensure that anyone of questionable character would neither be held forth as a representative in any way, nor given power over anyone in any way. That's the bright line we've drawn. I thought I communicated that clearly in the two-sentence policy statement, but either way, this guideline is firmly established now.
