Title: Citizenship Petition for Noah Bosch
Post by: Tric’hard Lenxheir on March 20, 2026, 09:05:05 AM
I am not sure of the official wording but as a citizen of Talossa in good standing I petition for this prospective to gain full citizenship (if that doesn't work message me Baron)

You may always adopt a Talossan name!  A lot of people (like me!) do that.

@Sir Lüc , is Tric'hard's post sufficient as a petition?

By the letter of the law I believe it is. Thanks for alerting me to it. I have split this off into a separate thread for clarity and await the required mick to send over the oath.

Tric'hard you may have just unintentionally reduced future citizenship petitions to one simple sentence. I know that's what I'll be doing moving forward.

For what is worth there has never been any statutory provision for what goes into a citizenship petition, except that it must be addressed to the Chancery. Personally, I would prefer receiving an one-liner rather than a copy-pasted petition with inaccurate claims about the prospective's interest and activity levels, but I do think a good prospective (which I believe Noah to be, incidentally) would deserve something better that they can keep as a fond memory.

Still awaiting the required second to send over the oath.

Congratulations and welcome, No·ac'h! Since you're not just a Talossan, but a Belacostan (congrats on that by the way), as the Governadeir I thought I should probably let you know of a few things:

- New Belacostans who immigrate during the middle of a Provincial Assembly session have the right to claim a seat.
- You can also pick a canton and sextieir of the province (https://wittenberg.talossa.com/index.php?topic=4065.0) to be assigned to (or have one assigned to you). This doesn't really do anything, apart from encourage you to look into local landmarks/features.
