Whereas, the Me Too Movement International (https://metoomvmt.org/) has since 2006 provided vital support, resources, and advocacy for survivors of sexual harassment and sexual violence, giving voice to millions who have suffered harm and working to hold perpetrators accountable across institutions and industries, and
Whereas, Talossa as a community has affirmed its commitment to the dignity and safety of all persons and to the cultivation of a culture free from harassment, abuse, and intimidation, and
Whereas, Talossa has the solemn responsibility to take the problem of sexual harassment and abuse seriously, given its unfortunate distinction among micronations of having two former leaders — Iusti Canun of the RUMP and Carlus Xheraltescu of the Free Democrats — who were convicted of sexual abuse of minors, and
Whereas, a third former leader, Breneir Tzaracomprada of the Green Party, has been accused of sexual harassment. This is a history that demands ongoing and active commitment to survivor-centered values, and
Whereas, material support for organizations that serve survivors is among the most concrete and meaningful expressions of that commitment, moving beyond words and resolutions to tangible action in the world, and
Whereas, the Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance, International Development (BHAID) exists precisely to channel Talossan resources toward causes that reflect our values as a community and our obligations as citizens of the world, and
Whereas, a contribution of ($50 USD) from the BHAID to the Me Too Movement would represent a modest but meaningful gesture of solidarity with survivors and a public affirmation of Talossa's commitment to a culture of accountability and care.
Therefore be it the Sense of the Ziu that the BHAID is hereby encouraged to make a donation of ($50 USD) to the Me Too Movement in support of its work on behalf of survivors of sexual harassment and sexual violence.
The Ziu further reaffirms that this donation is made in recognition of Talossa's own history and in the spirit of our community's ongoing obligation to do better, not merely to condemn abuse in our own ranks, but to support those working to address it in the wider world.

I think we just found a new classic definition for the term
chutzpah.
I do not support this bill. I find it to be offensive and not worthy of a moments support. It is not only disingenuous but also mean spirited that the author of this proposal would dare to suggest on any level that Talossa "produced" two convicted sex offenders. This Kingdom had nothing at all to do with the actions of those two men, did not condone their actions, etc. We are not guilty by association nor are we responsible for the upbringing of moral failures of these two former citizens.
S:reu Tzaracomprada, I will veto this "sense" if it gets even one more vote than necessary to pass.

It's pretty gross for someone who was condemned by the Ziu for sexual harassment (https://database.talossa.com/ziu/bills/61RZ13) to try to cover that up with this kind of nonsense.
Want to make things better around here? Give an honest apology. Even this bill just says you were "accused ." Your first step should be to take responsibility for your own actions.
Your Majesty, Talossa has had two former leaders guilty of sexual abuse of minors. That is a fact, whether we are comfortable with it or not. I also acknowledge the sexual harassment allegations against me which certainly is not comfortable either.
"Produced" is inaccurate though, I agree, so I will edit to clarify.
Any supporters are welcome to cosponsor. I will continue to make edits to address concerns too.
CCX was not convicted of sexual abuse of minors btw. The victim was not a minor, the sexual contact was a crime in that he was her teacher.

Oh, thanks for clarifying. The former FreeDems prime minister abused his position of trust as a teacher by engaging in sexual relations with a high school student then.
I'll edit the bill again.
