Azul, this is a quick thread to confirm details about the single provincial race specific to Florenciă in the August-September 2026 General Elections.
Florenciă will elect its unicameral provincial assembly, the Nimlet. This election will, by default, be run by the Chancery unless the province requests otherwise by August 13th. Florenciă should also supply relevant electoral law to the Chancery by that date, as well as anything else that should be printed on the ballot, otherwise the Chancery will interpret provincial law by itself as best it can.
I would like to notify the province of the results of the election:
- 4 votes to the Progressive Alliance
- 1 vote to the Green Party
- 1 vote to BREN
- 1 vote to FreeDems
- 1 vote to Uniun dels Reformistaes Livereschti
These can be found here: https://database.talossa.com/elections/august-2026-elections#271
Pending certification of the electoral results, then as the outgoing Governadeir, the tentative assignment of seats in the Nimlet for the 63rd Cosa term is as follows:
Senator: 1 seat
Governor: 1 seat
Progressive Alliance: 4 seats
Union of Free Reformists: 2 seats*
Green Party: 1 seat
Independent Progressive: 1 seat
* The vote for the "FreeDems" is held as equivalent to a vote for the URL, and therefore awards a second seat to the same. The URL is the direct legal successor to the Free Democrats of Talossa. Had the Free Democrats simply dissolved in the manner of the Talossan National Congress, the vote would be properly considered as invalid, but in this case the vote as cast can be properly understood and attributed to a registered party (using Lexh.B.8.3 as a guide).
The 1 Independent Progressive seat is allocated to Breneir Tzaracomprada
Yes, hello, question. Do Nimlet seats need to be assigned to Florencia citizens? Given that the incumbent Governor isn't a Florencia citizen

Outgoing Governor here -- to answer your question, according to Article III, Section 5 of the Constitution of Florencia, party seats must be assigned
"only to bona fide citizens of Florencia who remain qualified residents thereof".
As the tentative election results are now certified without alteration, the following seats need assignment:
Progressive Alliance (leader: @Baron Alexandreu Davinescu ): 4 seats
Union of Free Reformists: 2 seats (assigned to
@Açafat del Val )
Green Party: 1 seat (assigned to
@Crement Itravilatx )
Independent Progressive: 1 seat (assigned to
@Breneir Tzaracomprada )
My intention is to open the new Nimlet session once we are quorate, i.e. once a majority of the eight partisan seats are assigned, but we will see at what sort of pace that proceeds.
Given that, 2 seats to
@Açafat del Val please and thank you
The Green Party seat goes to me
