On behalf of the Government and the people of the Kingdom, I extend our sincere thanks to Sir Lüc da Schir, Secretary of State and head of the Chancery, for his stewardship of the recent General Election. An election is the moment when a free people speaks with one voice about its future, and it is the Chancery's quiet labor that makes that voice heard clearly and fairly. Through careful administration, prompt attention to the questions of citizens and parties alike, and a steady commitment to the integrity of the ballot, Sir Lüc has given the Kingdom an election whose results all Talossans may trust. That trust is the foundation on which every Government rests, and we are grateful to him for securing it.

We further wish to recognize Sir Lüc's work in establishing the new mailer system for party communications. By giving every registered party a reliable and even-handed means of reaching the citizenry, he has strengthened the conversation on which our democracy depends, making it easier for parties to share their ideas and for citizens to stay informed and engaged. It is an improvement that serves no faction but the whole Kingdom, and one that will benefit elections for years to come. For this and for his continued dedication to the Chancery, the nation offers Sir Lüc its warmest thanks and highest esteem.
