RESOLVED: that the Kingdom of Talossa petition the United Nations to establish a working group to create the world's first truly international lingua franca. Since several constructed languages have been created with the goal of providing a lingua franca for South American, African, Asian and native American languages, and only Esperanto has gained a following with its admittedly Eurocentric bias, I think it's a worthy enterprise to invent a truly neutral international language with as little national or ethnic bias as possible. Given the emerging mix of languages prevailing in most polyglot cities, the well-established international vocabulary for many goods and services, and the well-established features of creoles in many continents, there already exists a base of many languages to draw upon for vocabulary and sentence structure, which can baffle our neighbours and frustrate communication completely.
