Estimats Membreux del Ziu:
I strongly feel that Government should not be a black box: the people should not be left to wonder what's being done in their name. They deserve to know. But not everything is worth a full post on its own -- plus, some of our public servants are working quietly on helping others. So this is a very-much-not-comprehensive look at some of what's happening in the background.
Pirmeis, Distain
@Mic'haglh Autófil, O.Be has been doing good and quiet work. He helped nudge along
@Miestră Schivă, UrN-GC 's efforts to lock down heraldry for our newer ministries and supplied flyers for distribution in the GTA. Many might also not know that he's our national Scribe, and he's been doing that quietly without complaint for years.
Doualaiset, Minister of Foreign Affairs
@xpb has been working on his own flyers for distribution when he goes to represent us at a micronational event, as well as decking himself out in a uniform he's invented for the occasion (top to toe!) He's been planning our nation's contributions to the event for months.
Petosch, Minister of Culture
@Miestră Schivă, UrN-GC has been incredibly responsive, chiming in to help others and diligently following up assigned tasks. She has the most managerial responsibilities, but her time as a record-setting seneschal show she's developed great skills in that respect -- at last count, she was quietly assisting with half a dozen offices, either helping find candidates or assisting the incumbents.
Finalmint, Minister of Finance
@Françal I. Lux has already gathered budget requests and assembled them together, and he will soon present a budget. He also has his people to help, although it's funny to note that one of the people he supervises is the distain!
Others will also have things to report, as they work on their plans... but combined with my own efforts with the map and the wiki, I think we've made enormous strides in a few weeks!
If anyone has any questions, I will be happy to answer them. I am thinking particularly of Leader of the Opposition
@Crement Itravilatx , who I thought might have some questions.
(Looking to sprinkle some Talossan into your speech? Pirmeis, doualaiset, petosch, and finalmint are adverbs that mean firstly, secondly, moreover, and finally. The more you use it for little things, the easier it becomes to understand others!)
