I find the concept intriguing. I chose Talossa after reading about several micronations and found the details most interesting. I like the inclusivity and the freedom. Let's face it I also find the concept a bit humorous 😂

Hello everyone and thank you for the opportunity. I hope i can live up to expectations!

Q1. Do you have a favourite sports team? Who and why? Saginaw Spirit because i love ice hockey and they are my hometown team!

Q2. What are your favourite hobbies during your free time? Listening to music, reading, camping, fishing.

Q3. Pixar or Marvel? MARVEL!

Q4. If you had the opportunity to live in the capital city of any sovereign nation, other than Talossa, which would it be and why?  Australia because of the wildlife and the scenery nearby.

Q5. How do you cut your sandwiches? Diagonally, not at all, or another shape? Maybe you take off the crust? Usually not at all but if i do i cut into rectangles, i prefer crust on

Q6. Do you have a favourite podcast to recommend? I'm old i'm not even sure what a podcast is LOL

Q7. Apple or Android? Android...i think

Q8. What is Talossa's most attractive feature?  What brought you here? I was researching micronations online just out of curiosity and found several that would allow people to apply for citizenship even if they didn't live in the area. I found the information on Talossa to be the most intriguing. I like a good laugh now and then and found several things that made me laugh, especially in the province descriptions.

Q9. Which one of the Rocky movies is the best? First one

Q10. Skydiving, or deep-sea exploratory submarine? Submarine!

Q11.  What is your favourite movie and why? So many to choose from, i guess i would choose Return of the King just because it was the culmination of a great series.

Q12.  Do you have a favourite Avenger? Of the official Avengers i would choose Thor but i would have to say my favorite Marvel character was always Spider-Man

Q13. What would be three books, articles, or other such materials that you might recommend to all of Talossa for reading?  Uhm, well, most of the books i read are in extended series. My favorite would be The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan which has 14 books (not counting the prequel) I highly recommend the series to any fans of high fantasy fiction.

Q14.  Who/what is your favourite music artist/band/genre? Okay this is getting difficult. I love almost all kinds of music. I guess my favorite artist is Kiss, mainly because they were the first rock 'n' roll band i ever heard. I like most classic rock, disco, old school rap, older country music, some pop, most classical music...pretty much anything except gangster rap and female opera singers.

Q15. Are you a reader, a writer, a speaker, or a listener? I'm a reader and a listener.

Q16. What are your distinct and separate feelings on the colours of green, red, and pink? Green is a happy color, it means go and signifies spring, red is a bit of an color of a different color, it means stop and signifies anger, pink...for some reason makes me think of babies LOL

Q17.  Do you have a favourite flavour of ice cream? If not, what is a favourite dessert? Favorite ice cream would be blue moon but favorite dessert is german chocolate cake

Q18.  How do you feel about jam versus jelly? I'm a jelly guy.

Q19. Do you play any video games in your free time? Which? Not anymore, i used to play World of Warcraft but simply don't have the time anymore.

Q20.  If you could eat an apple right now, or a pear, which would you rather? Not a fan of fruit but if i had to choose it would definitely be an apple!

Hi, Rick! Welcome! I see we have a few things in common...I enjoy music, reading, fishing, camping as well. And...hockey! The only bill I ever (co-) wrote in my almost ten years as a Talossan was one making the Milwaukee Admirals Talossa's official hockey team. (I live in Northeastern Ohio...my teams are the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Youngstown Phantoms, and the Wheeling Nailers.) Awhile back we had a fantasy hockey league going on in Talossa.
I've been collecting the Wheel of Time series, I have at least ten of them now...the thing is, I haven't actually gotten down to reading them yet! What other book series' do you like? (I just finished a reread of the first six Michael Moorcock Elric books, which I haven't read since I was a teenager.)

I have read The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind, The Runelords by David Farland, Lord of the Isles by David Drake, A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin (a little upset with him for selling the rights and not finishing the series) and of course The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien. As far as hockey when it comes to NHL i am a Red Wings fan (struggling right now got spoiled for too many years LOL), I have 8 teams on the Yahoo fantasy hockey league right now LOL

LOL yes i was born in Saginaw, MI but i'm guessing the writer of that song had never been there as Saginaw is not on Saginaw Bay LOL my father was in the army of that "other" country that surrounds Tallosa and no i have never been to Alaska (but it is on my bucket list)

I knew you would have to get the reference, since you said you like "older country music." On a related topic, how do you feel about a fellow Michigander (Billy Strings) recently winning a Grammy for bluegrass album of the year?

I was in Ann Arbor for a few years around the turn of the millennium, but never got much above the I-94 corridor. My biggest regret about my time there is not having taken the opportunity to explore more of the state.

The best part of Michigan is north of Bay City, Midland, Muskegon line...northern lower peninsula and all of the upper peninsula is just a beautiful area! Not familiar with Billy Strings but anytime a musician from Michigan does well i am happy for them. The band Greta Van Fleet who won some grammys a couple years ago are from a town about 30 miles from where i live, i saw them before they were famous LOL
