Title: Flags flags FLAGS
Post by: Françal I. Lux on May 16, 2021, 09:25:26 PM
So where exactly can I get a Talossan flag? They used to have it on Amazon but now I can't find anyway. I just want that nice green and red flag hanging in my study.

Well, back in 2012, as Burgermeister, I ordered one for the Kingdom to display at TalossaFest from https://hitexflags.com/product/horizontal-flag-two-stripe-colors/ .

Warning, they don't ship outside the US/Canada/Caribbean (a Talossan in Australia was burned by that back in 2012, when they didn't even ship to Canada or the Caribbean).

It was established as a custom in the discussions of making that order that the Kingdom of Talossa vexilology does not choose to specify exact shades or ratios for the national flag; any decent approximation is considered equally valid. However, the flag I ordered for Talossa from that manufacturer was the 4x6 flag (thus a 2:3 ratio) in what that manufacturer calls Irish Green and Canada Red.

Thanks for the link! I think those color shades will do nicely.
