**NOTE the later start time for Central - I miscalculated that, but we are still a go for 1900 GMT.

At last, a video meetup for Talossans across the Pond.  For Asia-Pacific, if I can get some interest there, I'll set up a third separate Zoom meetup.

I will eventually want permanent undersecretaries (MinCulture) for Kafetegia Talossa (café in Basque) and Kawhe Talossa (café in Maori) who can handle all things about those events including platform, time, frequency, and whatever else.

For now, my next Tuesday will be spent doing Talossa with friends over videoconferencing with my horrible camera and mic.

For Kafetegia Talossa, I will post a Zoom link to Witt and the Chat Room at Noon Central for the 1pm Central meetup. 

The hope is for a 1900 Greenwich meetup.  If someone could let me know if my timezone calculations are working...

Yes - I'm in the U.K., getting hotter and hotter (who would have thought it - summer!  In England!!!)
Do you mean Greenwich (i.e. UTC) Time, or do you mean BST (British Summer Time = the clocks have gone forward)? For example, as I type the time GMT (Greenwich) is 13:46, but the time BST (the one we actually use in the UK at this time of year) is 14.46.

I meant 2pm Central and 7pm GMT - Good catch!

 :) I did a lot of work for the Met. Office (weather forecasting) in the UK, and they always used "Zulu" time - i.e. Zero displacement from UTC. "Greenwich" is, alas, no longer unambiguous. Sigh. And the reason the Met. Office used/use Zulu? Because they issue forecasts for the whole world, and it's the only time that every country and regime can agree upon. So see you this evening at 19:00 UTC (the time we don't use in summer in the UK) = 20:00 BST (the time we do use in summer!).
