I'm aware that there are Micronationball communities out there, but Talossa has been disconnected from the micronational world for so long that they barely mention us. I remember seeing Kingdomball and Republicball once.

I don't remember any Islamophobic cartoons, and a quick search on old Witt didn't turn up any use of the term (or Islamophobe, islamophobia, etc). The only unethical thing I remember is that "Eric S. Mildew" once faked a cartoon exchange to get me to publish something I wouldn't have otherwise done, and I fired him for it. It's possible that someone published an Islamophobic cartoon and you just never said anything, I guess, although it seems more likely you're just misremembering. I haven't read the back issues in years, though.

I see you saying that there, but I honestly don't remember this being any kind of problem, since I thought you were harassing me just because you were the target of criticism from my cartoonists, not because of that. Looking at the issue now, I guess I'm not understanding how it's a reference to you even now.

I have better things to do than retraumatise myself by actually re-reading the Mildew cartoons (any more than I'd want to re-read what Mad Ben wrote about me in
Ár Päts) but you yourself preserved the following quotes from me:

That is what I really felt at the time and that was why Rough Music happened. It wasn't just "Miestra can't handle criticism", but you still can't accept that from me after 7 years, it seems.
One thing that I'd take back is that clearly you weren't Mildew. It is now much more realistic to me that you really didn't know his identity, since I never learned the real identity of "Greg Glodoral" - I had my suspicions but the person I suggested point blank denied it. If I were to hazard a guess (given the general political reactionary tone as well as the personalised, seething hatred of yours truly), it would either be I. Ventrutx, T. Betinéir or BenArd, not that it matters much now.
I respect that AD has pulled out of this thread now, but I think I need to add this thread to the historical record (https://talossa.proboards.com/thread/10415/bericht-talossan-issue-january-xxxvi): the association between myself and Islamist terrorism made by the cartoonist was so obvious that other people commented on it and at least one person said he would no longer read BT in protest.
