That's not correct. Only votes for registered parties figure into the HOC calculations. Abstain and Atatürk are not valid parties. So that makes 9 votes.
FREEDEMS: 5 votes. 5/9 = .56
TNC: 4 votes. 4/9 = .44
We have 20 seats.
FREEDEMS: .56*20 = 11.11 seats. Rounds down to 11 seats.
TNC: .44*20 = 8.88 seats. Rounds up to 9 seats.
you are correct, i forgot they had to be registered parties, i knew abstain wasn't, however i wasn't sure on the ataturk, as i had forgot (and missed when i first checked) the part that they had to be registered parties, thanks for the correction!
