Title: Arms in Action: useful?
Post by: Baron Alexandreu Davinescu on December 07, 2022, 09:41:10 PM
I've been doing periodic "arms in action" posts about heraldry in different spots, but just wanted to check: are these actually useful and interesting to people?  They're fun, and I'll still do them, but thought it was worth a check on whether or not they were engaging to other folks.

If so, anything in particular you're curious about?

As do I!

No particular interest stands out to me at the moment, but I always enjoy what you come up with.

Okay, cool!  I'll do that, then.  I was thinking about doing one on Japanese mon next, their equivalent to heraldry that has functioned roughly like a badge.

I'm quite interested in mon myself, if you would be interested in collaborating on a post on the topic!

Sure! Why don't you gather images and info for like your favorite seven mon, and I'll include them?

I think the Long Fellow might be unusually busy or something at the moment, so I'm just going to go ahead with this on my own remit.
