Title: [Prümă Ministrà] 58PD1: Eucatastrophe Day
Post by: Breneir Tzaracomprada on March 18, 2023, 09:25:02 AM
WHEREAS Üc R. Tärfâ has made 20 updates to TalossaWiki, and

WHEREAS he has requested a day of observance in honor of the word eucatastrophe, and

WHEREAS this rather cool word was created by the legendary author J. R. R. Tolkien, and

WHEREAS one way to celebrate this day might be for the word to be translated into Talossan.

THEREFORE I declare 25 March 2023/XLIV, to be Eucatastrophe Day.

Signed,
Breneir Tzaracomprada
Seneschal

And the 25th of March really is the day of the eucatastrophe!

That's simple: eucatastrof. Counterintuitively a masculine noun. I blame Ben.

Sadly.
That should be added to the översteir to honour Tolkien anniversary this year. My next day of observance will be dedicated to Tolkien as well and to another word he crafted that should have s Talossan equivalent as well

I hope the King will formally countersign this PD soon to make it official!

Today because Bilbo years before did an act of piety, the Ring was destroyed!
