I would like to call on the Provincial Túischac'h to call a Final Vote on this proposal.

As I previously said: the Committee said it's not a significant change, so I don't see any reason not to Clark it.

Let me expand on that a bit: being in Government for quite a while, I have developed a massive allergy to overcomplex legislation so I try to keep my own projects minimal. But if I can get more people on board by adding some ribbons and bells, then why not

I'm in time zone GMT+12, so I'm probably not going to be available synchronously at the best of times. Best for the Northern Hemisphere to work this out and I'll see if I can make it.

Is this a situation where everyone is waiting around waiting for someone else to do it?

For me, the only thing I can't stomach in these suggestions is the 10 rather than 7 year term. That's too long for radical democrats and republicans, and will not get a single extra vote from monarchists.

Point of order, est. Túischac'h: are Terpelaziuns also allowed? It would be a poor thing if the Ziu could not keep the Government to account during "months of recess" (which are technically just months of no votes). Oh, I see you've already allowed this. Never mind.

Point of order. As the Túischac'h pointed out, neither XPB nor Dien are qualified to speak for the Opposition at the moment since both parties voted YES on the vote of confidence, and are not considered part of the Opposition at the moment. The only MC to actually vote in opposition to the Government is M. Yasir of the TNC. I wonder if he even knows he is currently the Leader of the Opposition.

S:reu Túischac'h, I in turn would like to thank MC da Dhi for asking the TERP, and stepping up to carry out the oversight function which is necessary for the Opposition to preserve democracy and to keep the Government honest.

I mean, if you want an argument for excluding the CpI from the convocation (or maybe only allowing them 1 representative member), then you've just made one.
