Quote from: Bråneu Excelsio on December 05, 2023, 01:42:27 PMThe group has been formed and there's a general outline, I'm personally working on a work path, while the Brains in the matter have been invited to voice their ideas as well.

I hope in a couple of weeks I can present some advancements to the general public.

I think MPF would agree: we must have something that can survive MPF's being abducted by space-aliens and that can live for decades on-end.

Unfortunately, there have been times where it has been effectively as if MPF has been abducted by aliens...which is why we need to move on from the database now.

It's not fair to MPF or to the Talossa people.

Wittenberg / Happy Independence Day from the RPP
December 26, 2023, 12:00:41 PM

Fellow Talossans, Happy Independence Day from the Royalist People's Party!

No long speech here just a quick note of thanks again to Senator @mximo for taking a stand on a principle important to the RPP. May others be inspired to do the same in the spirit of upholding the rule of law and good government.

As for holiday beverages, we tend toward beer but coffee is a nice non-alcoholic option.

Sponsor this bill

Thank You

Mximo, thank you, meirci, and merci.
I would corral many more languages but it would still be insufficient in expressing my gratitude.
#1324
@Iason Taiwos would you be willing to sponsor this legislation?

This is cute but I am still wondering who will sponsor the draft bill.
To my TNC friends, please consider your support for this reasonable effort. I am not privy to your discussions but the outcome appears to have been positive.

@Þerxh @Bråneu Excelsio @mximo
Let's please move forward with this reasonable effort.

That's a great question, Miestra.

Quote from: Breneir Tzaracomprada on December 10, 2023, 02:34:07 PMSenator Mximo is positively inclined toward taking on sponsorship as he supports the initiative. The TNC is currently in a week-long vote on their official stance on the bill, according to my last communication with him.

Another update, to the best of my knowledge, the TNC internal vote was in support of the bill, in support of allowing Mximo to sponsor, or both. Just waiting on a sponsor now.

Quote from: Miestră Schivă, UrN on December 18, 2023, 01:54:00 PMThe Free Democrats of Talossa, His Majesty's Loyal Opposition in the Ziu, are pleased to unveil our team of spokespeople on the various Ministries of Government. These will also be the Members of the Ziu tasked with asking Terpelaziuns on these questions.

Miestră Schiva
MC: Shadow Seneschal, Justice, Technology
Antalglha Xhenerös Somelieir MC: Culture, Immigration, Foreign Affairs
Senator Ian Plätschisch: Finance, Defence
Sir Lüc da Schir MC: STUFF

The Free Democrats have pledged to be a constructive Opposition, to maintain cordiality and co-operate with the Government where necessary and appropriate. Unfortunately, the Government has not lived up to its own publicity as the party of activity so far this term - the failure to produce a budget for the Second Clark is the main example of this. Presenting a credible alternative Government is the main way, in a parliamentary democracy, to keep the Government on its toes; and the Free Democrats are proud to do that.

The Royalist People's Party, likewise, commits to continue its assistance with keeping the Government accountable. We also thank the Government for obliging our citizen questions, to which, answers are not mandatory. We've lodged four so far but more are coming. We congratulate the incoming members of the Cosa and/or Civil Service, on their assumption of their FreeDem roles as opposition spokespeople.

A couple quick updates.
We are a week out now from the period when Txec began his own considerations on creating an internal Chancery policy concerning the taking of partisan positions. No update yet but hopeful.
Senator Mximo is positively inclined toward taking on sponsorship as he supports the initiative. The TNC is currently in a week-long vote on their official stance on the bill, according to my last communication with him.
