I understand that this bill, as posted here, was part of a larger bill that was regularly Hoppered and later broken up.

My vote doesn't make a difference at this point, but in my mind this piece of legislation was never Hoppered and, while it has no issues in form, the CRL shouldn't be able to approve a bill that did not go through regular order in the Hopper.

My objection doesn't apply to the Legal Repair Amendment posted in parallel to this, as it shares the name of the original Hoppered bill.

Isn't it A.10? I thought it was.

Apologies, got confused by the Seneschal posting a different version of the text and assumed it was a final draft.

Having cleared that up, I see no issues with the bill.

Could you link me to the previous iteration of the bill that you're speaking of?

Edit: nevermind, I found it.

(Additionally, I've switched my display name to "Sir Lüc", so hopefully it's easier to tag me.)

I made a new version of the new theme that should fix the icons problem. Let me know @Sir Txec dal Nordselvă, UrB @Üc R. Tärfă @Breneir Tzaracomprada if you want me to switch you over to that to test it out.

The new version also switches the font to Atkinson Hyperlegible, mostly because I like it and what it stands for, but also to unify the UI to a single font across all devices, which helps preventing all sorts of weirdness. (We're fine to revert to a different font if people don't like it.)

Any other person who wants to try the new font can let me know here, and I'll switch you over to the new version.

Yeah, that seems to be the issue. Otherwise, tagging Tric'hard works for me - just type Tri or Tric and he's the only suggestion.

This has been mentioned by a few others. When the darker theme was first activated it appears to present broken icons. This has not changed since that time. When creating or responding to posts the editing icons are black boxes. This is affecting the menu options as well.

PSA: don't tag luc-troubleshooting, it's just an account I made a while ago so I could view Wittenberg with lower privileges than my own admin account, to make sure access rules worked as intended. I never log into that account.

Quote from: Marcel Eðo Pairescu Tafial, UrGP on January 26, 2023, 06:30:42 PMSo the concrete idea is this:
* -ar is always pronounced "ahsh",
* -ár is always pronounced "ar".

FWIW, I like this better than repurposing -arë in a completely different way to its original usage.

While -arh feels "familiar" to me, I'm fine with leaving it in the dustbin of Glheþ history.

Fyi: my unexpectedly long time away from my main PC is over, so I plan to do some work on the theme in the coming days. Fixing that issue is going to be a priority, though as far as I've heard it's only been mentioned by you and Üc, so no idea what is causing this for such a small number of users.

Quote from: Baron Alexandreu Davinescu on April 11, 2023, 10:34:13 PMSupplemental question! Don't you feel bad, Most Honourable Seneschal, for both donating money to fund a public initiative and then having the gall to say that you're not ashamed of that fact?  And this at the same time that you're doing multiple different jobs, a fact that you freely admit is a corrupt action designed to fulfil a scurrilous campaign promise?

C'e utratxös!

Point of order estimat Túischac'h @Lüc,

the Distain should be remembered again of your previous rule that, as the Seneschal has not yet answered the question posed by my honourable friend, it isn't in order for an extraneous contribution to be made, unless it is on a point of order.

The point of order is not sustained. I'm afraid D:na Schivă was not the original questioner and her contribution does not count as a supplemental question. (Incidentally, M:sr del Val is still entitled to that supplemental question, should he do so in a reasonable timeframe.)

Regardless, I would like to advise the Cosă that debate should remain civil at all times. It would also be my strong preference that non-Terp questions to one another are still directed through the chair.
